We stayed at Le Meridien Etoile for 5 days in July---3 days on our own and 2 days as part of a pre-trip for a Rivercruise. Initially I was hesitant to book this hotel due to some negative reviews but did not want to change hotels for our pre-trip. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Overall we found the hotel very... The tub was crazy difficult to get in and out of! I slipped because of the differing heights and was swollen and black and blue. The carpet in the hall is very worn. The distance from the elevator to our room was very far! Breakfast was very expensive and a long wait. The wait staff were rude. I would not... More

I stayed here this weekend for a girls' weekend in Paris and was very impressed with nearly everything in this hotel. Everyone working there is bilingual, so my lack of French was not an issue. The location of the hotel could not have been better. About half an hour away from the Charles du Gualle airport and a 20 minute... More

My daughter and I stayed here with our tour group after spending time in London. The hotel is older. We stayed in Room 5093. It was next to a stairwell, and for two female travelers we had safety concerns about our room location. The hotel is circular, and we literally went in circles the first day trying to find our... I stayed here for three nights last month for holiday, and I would say the location is very convenient especially for us since it is the first time we been to Paris.. we took a shuttle bus from the airport and the stop directly in front of the hotel. metro is just short walk from the hotel and there are... We were booked into this very large hotel as part of our river cruise, and while I cannot fault its cleanliness, the breakfast buffet, or the other amenities, I would not stay here as a tourist on my own. This could have been any large hotel in any big city---no Parisian atmosphere at all. Several nice restaurants nearby and only... More

If you are looking for a newer hotel in the heart of Paris this may fit the bill. It's teeming with tourists who come and go throughout the day so if you want quaint Parisian atmosphere this is not the place for you. It's just about half a block to the Metro and RER station so you can easily get... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. The front desk staff and concierge staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have free wifi in our room, you just have to log in properly. The rooms are very small, but I guess that's Paris. The breakfast buffet is GREAT! A lot to choose from. The service is great! Very friendly and attentive.... More

I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone who is used to what most hotels now have as standard for business. If you have an international adapter make sure it caters for the 3rd (pin). You have to pay a €10 deposit to borrow from the concierge. Wifi is only free in the lobby. I was advised differently on booking. Apart... More

As the partner of a Platinum Starwood member, I was quite disappointed by the Le Meridien Etoile. While it is well located near the Arc de Triomphe, La Defense, Champs Elysees and the Metro, the hotel itself feels more like a train station or convention concourse than an actual hotel. The rooms are nearing their sell-by dates; moreover, the entire... More
