Stayed 3 nights with business colleagues attending an exhibition in Paris. The hotel is tucked away behind the Saint Sepulchre cathedral, and is a historic building in its own right. Near the Luxembourg quarter, with impressive official buildings. Close to a taxi rank and a short walk (5 to 10 min) from the nearest metro (StGermain des Pres or St... More

I really enjoyed my stay here as it made sightseeing very easy. Located close to many interesting landmarks including the Luxembourg Gardens. Great restaurants and markets nearby. Staff were great and the rooms were very French---lots of character. Big bathrooms which is unusual in the smaller European hotels.

Small boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly. However, I found my room to be a disappointment. It was very small and drab in terms of decor. The bathroom, however, was excellent. Well equipped and excellent high quality toiletries. Small, pleasant breakfast area, with typical offerings. Very nice indeed. Not cheap: would have been ideal Mir the room had been better.

If you are looking for a nice quaint and quiet traditional Parisian hotel, this must be part of your itinerary. Serviced by 3 nearby metros, located just behind a church with moderate security presence (of late), not to mention being in close proximity to the senate and nearby to a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants... This is one of the... More

As a frequent traveler to Paris and a left bank devotee........I couldn't believe my good fortune to have discovered a 4* with 3* prices in my favorite area. Alas, I am confused as I think there has been some 'ratings' inflation as this is definitely not a 4* but very charming and great value for the money regardless. Hotel Relais... More

We booked this hotel on line, and went there because our flight arrived late at night - too late to go immediately to our apartment. When we arrived, we were immediately known. Check in took no more than 3 minutes - great, late at night... The room was bigger than some I have stayed in in Paris and very comfortable.... More

The Hotel is extremely well located and has a very strong character with its lovely entrance, bar area and romantic courtyard. Staff is very friendly but service is not up to International Four Star Hotels standards. The Room was lovely, might be comfortable enough for a short stay and certainly not for a week as we did: There was no... More

My wife and I stayed at this small quaint hotel for a week's visit of Paris in Oct. 2015. The hotel is located on the Left Bank in the St. Germain area of Paris. The location is it's greatest feature as it is has two convenient subway stops nearby, one of which (St. Sulpice, Red Line) goes to Gare de... More

The room was very comfortable with modern bathroom. Although we had a problem with a reservation done through Agoda, the staff solved it for us immediately. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning and wifi work well, and the hotel is quiet. We decided to stay in a new neighborhood in Paris and enjoyed this area. The one... More

I love the way this hotel is decorated. Fabric on the walls, and African textiles on the walls. They rooms are a good size and the bathrooms were quite nice. Mirko is amazingly helpful. There was a mix up in our room as we are two women who did not want to share a bed. Looks like Agoda did not... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
