We started coming here shortly after it was opened and have stayed here a total of 4 or 5 times. It's a great little hotel in a very nice location. Located right behind St Sulpice is a great location to walk or metro to everything. The area has become very upscale since our last visit 3 years ago. High end... More

My wife and I spent a weekend in this hotel. The value for money was exceptional, considering the location, right between St. Germain des Pres and the Luxembourg Gardens, and the quality. The service was friendly and helpful. We had a standard room, with a window facing into the vine-covered courtyard, which was roughly the same size as the deluxe... More

My husband found this charming small hotel on the Internet. We had a deluxe room, and like others have mentioned, you don't spend a lot of time in there. The most comfortable seating was on the bed, but after a long day of walking in Paris, you didn't sit long, you were asleep! The breakfast seemed expensive until you saw... More

after coming from a large suite in bruges we were at first taken back by the lack of space in our deluxe room. then we realized that paris is not a city where you spend much time in the room. the location of this hotel in the 6th arr. is perfect. we managed to maneuver around our beautiful room as... A very charming small hotel behind St. Sulpice. Exceptional staff, updated common areas. Very good breakfast and very clean rooms. Good bathroom with tub/shower. Great location. Would return in a heartbeat. Great value for the price. By Genevieve

My daughter (adult) and I stayed here at the end of July and we loved it. The location was wonderful and the hotel was quiet at night. Our room was a larger room overlooking the pretty courtyard--an odd shape but lovely. The beds were so comfortable and the room was perfectly clean. Our AC was also fine. The concierges were... I am appalled that this hotel calls itself 4 star. We were in need of a hotel in Paris for one night due to a change of plans caused by the train strike. After a frustrating day we arrived at the hotel to what can only be called an indifferent reception. Taking the elevator to our room should have been... More

My son and I visited Relais St. Sulpice for the second time (our first visit was 7 years earlier). As before, we were greeted warm and welcoming staff, who despite my butchered French always seem to understand me. Our deluxe room was small, but comfortable. Closet space is limited, and there were relatively few hangers; I made a trip to... More

We stayed for 2 nights! This hotel is located behind the St. Sulpice Church which is where the DiVinci Code movie filmed. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of Restaurants and Pubs with a lot of character... Truly loved the location!

We stayed in this hotel for almost a week, the rooms are a bit small but with a Parisian feel to it which we love. All the rooms were also overlooking a small garden or courtyard inside the hotel which was also nice and refreshing. It was a bit expensive though and the breakfast was the same everyday-bacon, eggs, breads,... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
