This is the second time i am staying in Ibis Opera La Fayette. The first was good. This time its far from good. Lets start with the positives Wifi Works well. It allows multiple devices to be logged in, which is a real plus. Location Short walk to La Fayette and the streets have many restaurants and cafes And now... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. We are familiar with ibis hotels world wide and this one was no different. Clean, simple and budget friendly rooms, this one was the same. More than enough room for 2 people and their luggage. Comfortable sleeping. Great location, only a couple minute walk from a metro stop. Plenty of restaurants in... More

The hotel is very close to the Cadet Metro Station which is convenient but quite far from most places of interest. Some cute restaurants nearby too. Staff were friendly enough but not overly helpful in providing advice and directions. They also made a very strange call to our room in the early hours of the morning and asked what our... More

Stayed here in October 2014 for 2 nights. Great location, only 2 minutes walk to Cadet metro station. We arrived very early for check in, but the very friendly front desk staff were able to give us a ground floor room immediately. The room was perfectly clean, if a little dark, since there was only the glass door and no... More

Galeries La Fayette and the Opera house is a 25 minute walk! Breakfast did not have a lot of choices. Considering this is in Paris, they should have a lot of croissant selections at the very least. There are a lot of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Rooms were very basic and clean.

I've stayed at several Ibis hotels in a couple cities and this one-way very similar. Relatively clean, basic, spartan rooms that are modern. This one sticks to that theme. Some complaints though. None are major, but even though this is Paris, this place isn't that cheap. PROS: Comfortable beds Decent sized rooms (for Paris) Pretty clean Newly decorated (think Ikea... More

Despite the small size, the rooms were clean and comfy. The rooms were also equipped with AC which is a plus during summer season. Availability of a lift fitting 5 people was a nice surprise considering the fact that not all budget hotel within centre of Paris are equipped with it. Neighbourhood was quite as well and there were hardly... More

We stayed here for 2 nights recently, it was exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel chain such as Ibis. The rooms were clean which is all we wanted having not planned to spend much time in the rooms. Great location about a 10-15 minute walk to the main Gare du Nord train station where we made our... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
