We just spent four nights here and I would do it again. This is not a Marriott type hotel. It's rather plain. The building is old and could use some "refreshing". We had a family room. This is a two room "suite"...one room with two twin beds pushed together and the other room had two wing back chairs and bunk... more

We stayed in a family room at this hotel on May 24. It's in a great location, was clean and "did the trick" for our required one night stay in Paris until we were on to other locales. Positives: loved the family room with bunk beds, location was good, plenty of space, internet connection worked, good value for money. Areas... more

Not a posh hotel, but definitely one of the better deals in paris. It's quiet, located in a mostly residential area. Close to the Segur train station. You can see the Eiffel tower from the main street, however, you have to walk ALL the way around the block to get to it instead of just walking straight like you would... more

Out of all the different hotels I stayed at in 2008, this was my favourite one. The room we were given was large, cleaned well every day and nicely decorated with huge mirrors. The bed, although wasn’t a queen size, was instead two twin beds pushed together, was comfortable and the bathroom was also nice, there was no bath tub... more

Visited Paris as a family ( 2 adults, 2 children ages 10 and 6) for my birthday weekend. Travelled by Eurostar having caught train from Royston in Herts and booked hotel as part of the package through their website. Whole experience was great and we would certainly repeat it. This hotel is small but suited our purposes perfectly. We arrived... more

I was looking to take a last minute trip to Paris, alone. I did lots of research and found this hotel on the American Express website and did additional research. I booked through their webpage and only paid 111 euro. I was most concerned with location, price, and amenities. The location was perfect. You can see the Tour Eiffel in... more

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at the Tryp de Saxe. This hotel is not a posh, glamerous establishment. It is, however, an extremely well run, neat and very well located hotel. It is in Arrondisment 7 and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It is 3 short blocks from the Segur Metro station on... more

I have been there with my family and was perfect for us, there was a separately room for our 2 girls and a big bathroom. It was like an apartment. There isn't in the popular tourist areas, but it was near Eiffel Tower and Metro station was close (3 blocks), As our taxi driver said, it is a very expensive... more

This hotel was three blocks from a subway station in a very nice neighborhood. We only used a taxi once our entire trip! The staff was exceptional. Most of them spoke English as well as French and a few of them even spoke Spanish. Our room was very large and comfortable. The housekeeping service did a great job and we... more
