Staff is exceptional. Our trip was delayed a day due to the airline and they graciously extended our room and rates. My mother broke her foot while we were there and they were extremely helpful and concerned. All of our needs we're met with a smile and the on site restaurant Is delicious and the location is ideal. We stayed 4 nights in June. The staff is phenomenal. They always greet you with a smile & are helpful with everything. Our room was 506 "Sarah" room. A clean spacious room with lovely balcony views of the Opera. The bed was heavenly. Great location.. a 5 minute walk to the Louvre and walking distance to Notre Dame & Musee... More

The rooms were very contemporary. It's near many of the right bank attractions (Louvre, Opera House, Champs Elysees, etc. The air conditioning didn't seem to be turned on yet when I was there in May, or it just would not cool the room down. That made the room rather stuffy. We did have a balcony room, so we were able... More

My family (husband and two teen daughters) had two rooms during our five day stay in Paris. The hotel is very nice with a helpful, courteous staff. The location was excellent for our sight-seeing and shopping. Although there is a fair amount of street noise, it is to be expected in the city. Breakfast was excellent and overall, we throughly... Friendly and very helpful staff. The room is large compared to most hotel rooms in Paris and it is super clean and fresh. The decor is contemporary french chic. Wood floors, marble bathroom and quiet even though my room was located on the 1st floor facing the main blvd. Located within walking distance of shopping and sightseeing. Definitely will stay... Very clean, what is not offen in Paris. The hotel is situated very close to the most interesting sights: Louver, Opera, Comedy Frances, Museum d'Orse, Gallery Lafayette, Palais Royal... Good polite staff, all of the problems and questions were solved very quickly. It was a pleasure to stay at Eduard 7, next time in Paris - only this hotel. We... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
