Good place to stay. Most major tourist sites about 10 -15 mins on train. Train just outside the door. Rooms small but clean and meet holiday inn standards. Front desk not particularly helpful with tourist I info. I recommend tripadvisor Paris app. More

The guestroom was described as standard but a more accurate description for a hotel that boasts itself as a Holiday Inn would be sub-standard. I booked this hotel because I was arriving from Brussels at Gare du Nord and taking a day trip to Reims leaving from Gare de l'est train station; needless to say its proximity to both these stations made it ideal. We arrived ridiculously late from our Eurostar (over 11 hours on train) and didn't arrive til well after midnight. The reception staff were a delight and the room was terrific, bigger than any we have previously had in Paris. The staff could not have been more helpful. We will be back.
