I had read reviews of this hotel that it was in an unsafe neighborhood and the breakfast was poor. First of all the location is ideal for metro users the stop is literally steps in front of the hotel and the large train station just across the street. Overpriced for amenities. No iron or mini refrid. Carpet stains. Location is convenient, but in an unsafe location. Complimentary breakfast is a bust. Food was not good. I will pay more to stay in a nicer hotel and better location. more

We were very impressed with this beautiful looking hotel directly opposite the Gare de L'est station. Although the room was slightly small, it is a good size for Paris and had a nice size bathroom. Hotel location excellent to Metro stop-Right out the front door. Staff was very friendly, smiling -Ewa checked us in very friendly and helpful. Had to catch an early train to Amsterdam on final morning, it took only a few minutes to Metro to Gare Du Nord. Was upgraded to a suite with living room and seperate bedroom. Excellent stay more

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger than your typical European hotel. The beds were not the comfortable, this was my only dissappointment. The hotel is steps away for Gare de L'est for easy access to the metro. Plenty of food options in the area. more
