Great charming hotel located in a very nice neighborhood for visiting, outing, food, spectacles (2min walking from Olympia). Welcoming is friendly and staff very helpful to ensure your comfort. Nice attention is open bar in the afternoon, and breakfast is quite comprehensive with choice of continental or American breakfast to please everyone

Stayed in this small hotel for 5 nights and did not regret it. The rooms are large enough, clean and well decorated. We got a room on the fourth floor with a street view which was great. Some rooms face the inner light well, which I presume will not be as appealing as ours. The breakfast is simple but has... More

Any hotel that can boast such a central location with easy access to the great shops of Paris, the Madelaine, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees and St Honore would normally cost a fortune but this little unassuming place has it all. Now its not the Ritz but for the price its probably the best you'll get in Paris. The... More

The hotel is clean, the stuff is very kind and willing to help. the room was not spacious but my understanding is that this is the case for most hotels in paris. The property is located in a very nice and safe area. very convienient as many metro stations around. Nice location for bars and restaurants. Opera is 5-7 mins... More

I spent 10 days in a row and a weekend in the Hotel Caumartin. I have to acknowledge that management at the hotel did their best to improve any inconveniences we had. Probably the most annoying thing, had to do with the fact that everyone in Paris smokes, and many places still grand courtesies to smokers although this is not... More

This is easily the largest room I have stayed in when in Paris, even the bathroom was spacious. It's not the newest or most fancy hotel but it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is superb.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
