We have stayed in this hotel or a nearby one in the same group for several years when we visit Paris. This is an excellent location if you prefer a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and the metro. The Roissy bus from CDG airport goes to Opera which is only two blocks away. The Olympia and several other theaters are... More

Hotel Caumartin Opera is located between L'Opera and Madeleine, and close to the Roissy Bus stop and easy access to CDG. It. The room is clean and the staff is helpful. My plan included a buffet breakfast with breads, coffee/tea, fruits, cheese, eggs, ham, sausages, yogurt, and etc. I wish there was a refregerator in my room. But the hotel... More

Stayed 2 nights in April 2014. The place is well located - walking distance from Opera and the underground - galleries Lafayette is also close by. The hotel should qualify as a bed only - would suggest all travelers to skip the breakfast there - you're in Paris go to the cafés. Also, like in all Paris hotels, space is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014 during our first Europe Trip. The hotel is centrally located with 2 stations and airport bus very close by. This meant we could get from the airport to hotel using the Roissybus, no fuss just one last stop! The hotel is next to the Opera which is a tourist attraction in... More

The hotel has a very good location, is clean, is quiet and has very big rooms for Paris standard. The staff is helpful and friendly and services are ok. Very good value for your money. I will choose it for my next trips to Paris.

If you like shopping, this hotel would be a good choice. It is within walking distance to major shopping malls, Printemps and Lafayette. Also it is very close to several Metro stations and make you accessible to anywhere in Paris. However, I can't say the hotel is a quality one based upon its leakage bathtub and out-of-service lighting. Also the... More

Location: Hotel is near to the opera metro station and Auber RER station. Good for shopping as Galaries Lafayette and Printemps are just nearby. You can take the Roissybus bus from the airport to opera. Costs 10.50€. Room: Hotel room is small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast: Breakfast is ok and I love the croissants! Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
