First of all location is great, next to printemps & lafayette, room is clean and breakfast is well enough for me, additionally they are serving happy hour meals until 13 to 19 pm and this is nice. Only there is no frigidare at room and this is bad I think. Thank you..

Ok So I might be the most unlucky person on the planet. I have never written a review before but I thought I should this time. I am not overly demanding when I travel especially when I book a 3 star hotel but my 2 experiences at this hotel were pretty bad. I stayed at this hotel the weekend of... More

We stayed 4days in this hotel. First day was no problem and staff in hotel were kindly. But next day the hot water were stopped. So couldn't have any shower. Maybe only cold shower... The boiler in this hotel were bloken so next day we could use next door hotels shower room. We heard from hotel staff that it will... More

This hotel promised to be perfect for our long weekend in Paris. We travel here often so our expectations are realistic. On arrival everything seemed good. We left the bags and went out for the afternoon. Upon our return there was no hot water. It seemed that the boiler had 'exploded' and nothing could be done until Monday. The reception... More

We have stayed in this hotel or a nearby one in the same group for several years when we visit Paris. This is an excellent location if you prefer a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and the metro. The Roissy bus from CDG airport goes to Opera which is only two blocks away. The Olympia and several other theaters are... More

Hotel Caumartin Opera is located between L'Opera and Madeleine, and close to the Roissy Bus stop and easy access to CDG. It. The room is clean and the staff is helpful. My plan included a buffet breakfast with breads, coffee/tea, fruits, cheese, eggs, ham, sausages, yogurt, and etc. I wish there was a refregerator in my room. But the hotel... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
