The staff is what makes this place so nice. Barely speaking french, and being welcomed as an old friend was so comforting. They really take care of you and would recommend friends to stay here. It's close to all the fun sites, there's an awesome Scottish pub about a block away, and the hotel was great. The room was good,... More

If you want to be close to the action in Paris, this is the place for you. This is not like any North American hotel, and that's a good thing. The room is plenty big (you won't spend much time there anyway), and it has all the amenities you need. You're like 100 meters from the Seine and so close... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great and the street was quiet and chic. Big comfortable bed, beautiful room and tastefully decorated hotel. The hotel was located near several metro stations...look on the hotel website for good directions.

We usually stay at the sister hotel to the Conti, the Prince de Conde. It was full the days we were in Paris, so we stayed at the Conti. Although the rooms are smaller, they are quieter, and the desk people are more than helpful and kind. Our room faced the dome of the French Academy, and although tiny, it... More

The location of the hotel is very good (7-10min to St Michel metro station and 5 to Pont Neuf). The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was quite diverse and good. The rooms however are not on my taste, with a very old aspect (which is the style I found for most of the hotels in Paris). The... More

From the time we arrived in Paris at the Prince De Conti hotel we knew we were in a very special place. We were greeted at the front desk by Marion who made us very welcome and relaxed as we had just arrived into Paris. Due to some renovations we were upgraded to a charming ground floor apartment, beautifully renovated,... More

The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. When we checked into the hotel we were invited to breakfast every morning from 7-10 AM. At checkout is when we were informed that we were to pay 15 euros per person for the breakfast, although the agent who checked us in failed to mention anything about getting charged. Also,... More

Service was great at the front desk (they were attentive, cordial and arranged a cab to the airport). The proximity to local food, art shops and nightlife is very convenient. We were there in late June which is high season, so we paid for it. Our room was soooo small (twin) and a tiny bit shabby. However, the room was... More

The location of the hotel was great but all great things ended here...the hotel was overpriced for the rooms with not working electrical sockets or table lamp, the window's frame was almost black from the mould and the room smelled cigarettes, although I booked " non smokers" the girl at the reception said the room we booked ( five months... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
