Except of the excellent behaviour of the staff i will not remember anything good of the hotel. The room was very small (i mean very!!!), the bathroom could not be smaller, the elevator was like coffin (it may sounds ridiculous that i mention that but if you can not fit in with your luggage and you have to go up... The room was super tiny, not renovated and was ver dingy. There was mold in the bathroom. The elevator is only big enough for one person to get into if you have luggage. I plan to travel back to Paris next year but will not be staying here again. I will say that the receptionist was very nice though.

I've stayed in Aston Hotel for six nights last week. I was travelling with a friend and we've got a twin bedroom. For me,the hotel was excellent. Great breakfast, the room was clean all the time, including the bethroom and towels. The bedroom was small, but it was very Ok for Paris! Above expectations! The location was very good too,... More

we had a great stay in this hotel. Cosy and with lots of French charm. Metro and grand boulevard, with many dining and drinking places in just a few minutes away. Ideal for a short trip to explore paris. Hard rock cafe, Irish pubs, bakery, Quick and many other spots very near the hotel. Indeed the rooms are not very... More

Very tiny renovated room, with an even tinier shower. This is not a 3 star hotel, but a 2 star. The rate I payed was low compared to an average hotel in Paris, but I thing it is possible to choose better. The staff was very helpfull though.

The location is great. The rooms are not new but clean. Would not recommend them for people looking for a specious hotel or people looking for a luxurious hotel. it is very compatible for a city vacation. The stuff was helpful - we had an issue with our rooms and changed rooms after 2 nights.

I wet to Paris for a university admission interview and spent two nights at Aston Hotel. The room, albeit small, was clean, comfortable and quiet, all very important for the interview preparation. Staff spoke fluently English and was very helpful. The building could use some refurbishment, but considering the price level, the quality was OK. Only major downside was that... More

I can totally understand the mixed reviews. Depending on your lifestyle and travel style this might be a great place or a horrible place. Here's why, as I see it: PROS: - Location: Cafes, restaurants and the Louve (about 15 minutes at a good pace) were within walking distance. I actually walked to the Eiffel Tower (only for those with... More

We have stayed in the aston hotel for few days while visitng our friends in paris. Hotel is very nice, cosy and comfort. We have upgraded our room so we got a new one. Nothing to complain. Breakfast is ok, got alot variety of cheese but since we don't like it- we didnt get well. Will reccomend it

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend and I think I would return there. It's extremely centric (in 2 minutes you can reach the "grand boulevard" metro station, that links up every part of Paris) and clean. I must admit that the room is small, expecially for the "italian stardard" rooms, but it's not important in my opinion, since,... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
