it does not deserve 3 stars, when you arrive in the lounge, it smells litteraly crap, so as in the lift and stairs (don't know if it was linked to unhappy clients), rooms are tiny & dirty, and you are eating in a basement....

Excellent location, this hotel is ideally in an extremely quiet street and so close to the restaurants, shops and visits. Room is quite small, comfort is just enough, but hotel is clean and the bed is excellent quality. Recommended for a city trip !

Misleading photos, very small room, bathroom looking more like a closet, elevator could barely fit one person and a suitcase, walls full of mold, definitely not a 3 star hotel, too expensive for what you get, we had to move to another hotel

the hotel is not like is tries to show. The room is very VERY small, two people moving together in the room is impossible. The bathroom was dirty, with a brown color in the toilet. Also, the bathroom was 1x1 meter large (toilet, shower and mirror), so you understand our surprice and disconfort. We had booked 5 days but we... More

Small establishment in the center of Paris located in a nice neighborhood. It is not very easy to find it so you better ask someone before start wondering around. The standard double room has all basic amenities that a few days guest might need. The size of it is to be remembered though. It actually fits a double bed and... More

Hotel Aston is worth a stay if you value location in Paris. It's not far from Gare du Nord, and there is a metro stop just meters away. You can walk to the Opera district in less than 10 minutes. It is not for the heavy traveler, though - the hallways and elevator can barely accommodate the width of a... More

It has all the services with premium furniture. The view from the windows is stunning, very go Parisian rooftops! The breakfast is very compete, is defenently not the typical continental breakfast. The location... More

Small hotel located in an alley (Bergere) full of hotels. My friends and I arrived before 14:00 so rooms were not ready, but we were offered to do all the check-in process immediately and to put our luggage in the "luggage room", which happen to be a corner in the breakfast lounge. Really friendly staff.Everyone was always with a smile... More

We had a fantastic time here. Our room was very comfortable and ideal for a pleasant short stay. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast served in the dining room contains enough variety for a good morning start. Cappucino was great, by the way. The staff is very friendly and helpful, giving us good tips on how to best... More

Aston Hotel is really nice. It is both located in a really good place in Paris and very quiet. The breakfast is good, the bathrooms would deserve to be a little bit bigger and more modern. The rooms are quite small, but not fewer than almost of them in Paris at this rate. The staff is very good, helpful and... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
