Location: Good for city break sightseeing. Easy 5mins stroll to Metro (Trocadero); around 15mins walk from hotel to Eiffel Tower with good views on the way. Hotel: exceptionally friendly staff, use of PC+printer in lobby (in addition to wifi in room), small gym looked well-equipped (admit never managed to get past the breakfast room to actually go in...but definitely thought... I have been visiting Paris frequently over the last 18 years but the Plaza Tour Eiffel has got to be one of the best, if not the best, hotel that I have been in. The three qualities that I look for in a hotel (comfort, location and service) were all more than adequately met. We are a family of 3... More

This hotel is in a perfect location. Walk to the end of the street to see the Eiffel tower and walk to the base in just over 10mins. The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was was clean (if a bit warm) and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed 6 nights in early December. The staff and facility were exceptional. Our Jr. Suite overlooked the street with views of the Eiffel Tower and was large for Paris standards. The bathroom was clean and well appointed...we really appreciated the extra large bath towels. They were perfect to sop up all the water after a shower due to the... More

Great room with very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Room had view of Eiffel Tower and was walking distance to tower. Excellent central location and close to Trocadero metro. Friendly staff and superb buffet breakfast.

I stayed at the Plaza Tour Eiffel for three nights in September with family. The staff throughout our stay were welcoming, friendly and consummately professional. Our room was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The bathroom was equally as clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The breakfast, served in the basement dining room, was delicious and fresh. A... More

Our travel agent booked the hotel for us after hearing the specifics we wanted from our trip. The rooms are not that big but they were modern, clean, and well maintained. The Eiffel tower was only 10 minute walk and all the other main attractions in Paris were within walking distance or short taxi ride. The staff were more than... More

This is a hotel with friendly helpful staff in a quiet location yet only a short stroll to restaurants in Place Mexico, opposite the Trocadero etc. 15 minutes walk & you are at the Eiffel Tower. There is a very useful Tabac opposite. Our room was small yet comfortable & the bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was good although... More

Our first trip to Paris began and ended with wonderful experiences at this hotel. It's charming, the staff is gracious and the location as exactly what I sought. Just a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero, this hotel provides a delightful contrast to what a travel agent had recommended. We didn't want an American hotel experience. At... Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
