We only had one day and evening in Paris and we loved our stay at the Trianon Rive Gauche! Wonderful reception and very friendly upon our early arrival. Our luggage was held while we explored Paris waiting in our room to be ready. Thankfully, it was ready before noon and what lovely honeymoon detail was given to our room for... More

Horrible hotel. The room and bath were very messy. I had to clean the bath by myself before the shower. There were clothes from guests before, in the cupboard. The safe hangs on a wall not quiete safely. Didn't dare to put something in, as I was afraid that it falls down. The windows do not close properly, so its... More

We stayed 5 nights at the beginning on August, love the location and service. We were in the Superior Twin room with a small balcony with a nice view of the Eiffle Tower. The front desk staff was always helpful and spoke English. We did not have their breakfast because there are so many lower cost cafes just steps away... More

Enjoyed a 4 night stay in this well located hotel. The Best W we booked on a previous visit was not available, so we decided to try this one. Loved it, It was charming. Our upgraded room was on the 8th floor, with a view, small frig, nice amenities (robes, slippers). Breakfast was wonderful. So many nearby restaurants to choose... More

Good location and room was decent. No mini bar however you can get a drink in the lobby lounge. What I loved the most was the view of the Eiffel Tower! Overall, I was pleased with the hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Paris that's not too expensive.

This hotel is in a perfect location for the centre of Paris within walking distance to the Seine and two steps from the Sorbonne university and jardin du Luxembourg. As for the quality of the hotel, it met all my expectations and exceeded them with the large, well functioning bathroom.

We were family of four travelling and booked two rooms. Hotel quaint and very French but stale and old smell, however reasonable for the pricing of two rooms. Rooms were on the small side and double bed smaller than usual and mattress not comfortable. Views from our rooms were hotel inner cavity building and of air conditioning equipment - not... More

This was a lovely hotel with metro and bus stops close by. There is an assortment of restaurants and Cafes within close proximity of the hotel, and access to the Boulevard St Michel. Staff were very helpful with a wealth of information of the surrounding area. Car parking is available near the hotel but not for large camper vans as... More

We were a little concerned about a Best Western being where to stay in Paris, but it was great! it is a typical, quaint Paris hotel in a great location in a great neighborhood. The staff was supremely helpful. The in-house breakfast buffet was quite good. The room was plenty large and very nice. We did all the typical tourist... More

I booked this hotel a few weeks ago via booking.com; no issues, very smooth. On arrival we were greeted and the booking was correct. The room was nice and very clean, although on the small side once suitcase and belongings are in, but not an issue at all. We didn't use the hotel breakfast or dining as nearby are plenty... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
