This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, with broken tiles in the bathroom and very old vintage design. Its location next to the train station meant that the noisy trains would be your ambiance noise throughout your stay. What it did lack in deco it made up with the ultra friendly and helpful receptionist!

My other half booked this hotel. After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little apprehensive, but this turned out to be totally unnecessary. The location was great - we could get to all of the major sights in around 20 minutes. We didn't experience any of the noise problems that were mentioned in other reviews - our... More

OK this is Paris. Hotel rooms are expensive and tiny by Australian/US standards. I booked this hotel as a "secret hotel" as I wanted to stay somewhere different from my usual haunts in the 7th and 14th. I like the 17th arrondissement, having lived there for a month more than a decade ago. It is the Paris of real people,... More

My partner & I stayed here for four nights. I can only describe the hotel as shabby-chic, but not on purpose! The furniture in our room was dated and very worn. Our room was also very cramped, not much space to move about. We paid extra to ensure we got a double. When we got into bed on the first... More

The day we arrived to the hotel they told us that they have problems with the rooms, so they moved us to villa Alexandra for couple of days which was right next to the arc de triumph. It was a great location. We were supposed to stay there for a night but instead we stayed there for two cause we... More

Stayed here with my partner for a romantic getaway to Paris. Was unsure on what to think due to the amount of poor reviews but overall happy with my experience! Pros: Room was nice, cleaned daily and had everything you need. The location was great only 10 minutes away from villiers the nearest metro station from which you could get... More

We stayed here in mid-November 2014 as part of our honeymoon. The room was very clean and the staff very kind and helpful. The hotel is located across a train station (Pont-Cardinet) and a 5-10 minute walk to the bigger Saint-Lazare station. Breakfast is not included but the hotel is very close to restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is... More

This was our first stop in our European holiday, and it was a great introduction to Paris (although we did walk from Gare St Lazare up to the hotel with our bags - which was slightly up hill and very exhausting!!). When we checked in we were given a map of Paris, and also told about the two buses nearby... More

Friendly staff at the reception. Nice particular furniture. The hotel has four stars, seems somewhat overrated. Excellent Wifi connection. Breakfast is not ready at 7:00, but somewhat later it is very busy. Nice restaurants in the surrounding that are not so expensive. The nearest metro station is a 15 min walk.
