Booked this hotel as the location is near the lafayette. Booking was made directly via the hotel website and I tweeted something about the hotel and walla.... A complimentary bottle of Bordeux in the room upon check in. Location, near eateries so it wasn't hard to find food. Breakfast was okay too... Recommendable

Amazing hotel. Great friendly people and seemed close to most things. Walkable distance to Gare Nord. Will stay there again when I go back. People were really helpful and friendly. Walkable distance to Gare Nord train station.

Just came back from that beautiful hotel and can't wait to write our review. We have chosen Plaza Opera for our honeymoon trip to Paris. We had room number 44! It has perfect view on the street from the room and stunning view on the Eiffel Tower from the bathroom! I really loved the furniture and the bath was so... More

We were absolutely delighted we chose this hotel for our weekend in Paris. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist took the time to explain how to best access all of the main attractions from our location. The area itself was very nice and we felt safe returning to the hotel in... More

Held up by French transport so we had to settle for a few extra days in Paris. Booked this hotel which was close to Gard du Nord station, bus direct from station to hotel for close proximity. Perfect for staying the extra nights.

On arrival and when talking with the Staff during the stay they were very helpful and even provided maps for the city. As people suggest the rooms are small as is typical and were very Clean. It was Mid Feb and cold outside but the room was very warm so we turned the radiator off. The hotel has good transport... More

Our room wasn't quite as glamorous as the website...and 'bijou' would be a good description...very small studio with bathroom, our room was saved by having a small balcony with great street views..very pleasant in the evening...easy walking distance from Gare du nord, the area is well served with cafes, restaurants etc...if you just want a bolt hole in Paris, this... Nice Hotel, located near to Opera House. Pleasant stay. Well connected to metro plus 4 bus lines in front of the hotel. Small room, good breakfast according to French standards. Per total, a nice stay in Paris

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
