It's a 2 star hotel in the centre of Paris, so your expectations have to reflect that. That said, we were most impressed. Small room, but everything worked; particularly appreciated having a safe you didn't have to pay extra for. Very tight bathroom, but adequate. Reception was extremely helpful (in English where needed) with advice on local restaurants etc. Because... More

IIt was a real surprise. The Hotel very well located, close to the subway station and bus stops. You get very easy at the points of interest - Opera, the Center Pompidou ... Although the camera is tiny ( we're in Paris..) is sufficient. Special cleanliness: every day we had clean room, well ventilated, with towels changed ... It's worth... More

we stayed for two nights here. The hotel is in an ideal location, in the Opera quarter, with many brasseries and metro stops nearby. It is just a two star hotel, so don't expect large rooms with lavish furnishings. The furniture in the room was quite simple, a bit dated, and small. However, things were in good condition. Our bed... More

I stayed at this little gem of a hotel for a weekend at the start of this month. admittedly it's not the easiest to find if you don't know where you're going but once you have your bearing you realise how central you are to practically everything! There are lots of restaurants, clubs, bars and shops everywhere, its fantastic. The... More

More

Central (only a bit tricky to find)-close to Metro station, Monmartre, almost all main tourist attractions. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean and cosy. Breakfast was included, otherwise it is not advisable to pay extra for it in general in Paris.

Went to Paris in September, stayed at this hotel which is very convenient for the metro station ,train Gare du Nord, and be in the quaint streets and restaurants of Paris. It is a small hotel, rooms are very tight but it is clean. Noise level is 7 due to a club right across from it ,since it was very... More

2 nights was not long enough, but the BA package was reasonable and the breakfast was enough to get us started each day. The staff were very helpful and hopefully my French has improved. Only one drawback was that we were at the front of the hotel and it was over Halloween and quite a noisy weekend. Room was conformable... More

If you are on a budget look no further. Fairly good location with a Metro near by connecting directly to Opera and Trocadero. Walked to an from to Gare d Nord. Arrived early, one of our rooms was ready and for our surprise we could check in. Very polite and helpful staff at the desk. My single room was very... More

My son and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, and we found it to be located in a fairly lively area with lots of food and bar choices. It is not a quick walk to any of the major landmarks, but it does have a metro stop just around the corner which was very useful. Our room was... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
