We spend a wonderful weekend in Paris, sleeping at New Hotel Lafayette. The hotel is located in walking distance to Montmatre, Louvre, etc., next Metro is about 200m. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are well cleaned - they are not spacious but rather small (we slept in 124, no desk and only about 30cm on each side... More

My mother and I have just visited Paris, staying in this hotel. It was a very comfortable stay, the room was lovely, staff very polite and helpful as well. Breakfast was fine and the location is great, Metro 5 mins away and hotel is surrounded by resturants and a supermarket

Location was fine for our needs & 99% of staff were very polite & helpful.Downside for my partner & i were that on our 1st morning we woke to no hot water. This was reported & sorted, but same issue occurred the next morning. We then accepted a change of rooms only to find we had a tiny 1/2size bath with a slope... With all the choice of accommodation that Paris has to offer it can be confusing to choose the right type of hotel and location. I did my research and what stood out about this property was the positive reviews on cleanliness which I can confirm is true. The hotel is a 3 star property, very close to Metro stations, mini... Stayed here for my 21st birthday and after my partner ringing twice to ask for a nice room with a double bed and bath we were given a twin room. We told the American guy on reception that we were not happy with the room and his response was extremely rude and arrogant. He did not once apologise but instead... More

2 minutes' walk from where my meeting was next day, this was perfect. Didn't check in until 22.30 and left after breakfast, but it had what I wanted: friendly check-in, impeccable Wi-Fi (was given the code without asking), a comfortabe bed and excellent soundproofing - I wasn't aware of anyone else and actually overslept. Breakfast simple, in a brightly decorated... More

Stayed twice this month in this hotel for business. Staff is very friendly and location is great. The hotel is close to the metro stop "Cadet" and there are various good restaurants in the area. The rooms I stayed in where very small, but suppose this is what you can expect in the center of Paris. The breakfast was not... More

In paris, if you want a good location, most likely the hotel room size is small. It is small but everything you need is there and the staffs are all very nice. The lift is small so if you have a lot of luggages, you need to go travel the lift more than once. Location is great, near restaurants, metro... More

Spotlessly clean with daily service. Due to a summer offer maybe it was really affordable for a 3-star hotel in Paris in the middle of summer and high season. Good location at walking distance from 2 metro stations and the gallery Lafayette. The Train station du Nord at 15 minutes on foot. Polite but a bit impersonal staff. Nice comfortable... More

The hotel is located within 5 min walk from Cadet metro station. The rooms were smaller than what I expected. It has basic amenities and cleanliness was maintained. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
