The stay in Montsouris Orleans was great. Very nice people and a good price/quality ratio. The room was big enough but the bed was to small for two grownups. Its a good hotel for citytrips in a nice neighborhood in Paris!

Very non intrusive service. The room was good (but with no aircon), much better than expected at this price point (USD 173 Fri-Sun). Location is silent but some residence noise. Port d'Orleans is not exactly central but this is no problem unless you have to go home while the public transport is not moving. If you just need a nice... More

I was very well received, the room was very quite, in very good shape and very clean. The hotel is very well located (between porte d'Orléans and Cité Universitaire, which is ideal to take both line 4 and RER B). The breakfast was decent. I had a an incredibility good stay, especially for a cheap hotel in Paris!

Between Alesia and Porte d'Orléans this one-star hotel deserves one more at least. The receptionist is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are small but modern, very clean and newly redecorated and so are the en-suite bathrooms. The only negative points are: our mattress was not of excellent quality and the walls between the rooms are very thin, so you can hear... This hotel had a good price and is well localized. In 300m you will find the metro station and a market. Pharmacies are near also and some other commerce. They don't exchange towels and sheets everyday, they don't have an elevator (be prepared to climb very tiny stairs with your luggage). Staff speaks English (in a French way, of course)... More

Convenient to the Metro and buses for connections to the sights of Paris and Montparnasse station. The staff was exceptionally helpful; one young man walked me through buying train tickets online which saved me a lot of money.

Found this hotel online and it was an excellent find! Really clean hotel, really friendly staff, great value and just a 4 minute gentle stroll away from a metro stop. A little bit out from the 'city centre' but a lovely area and a great cafe, Pomme Rouge, to have a drink and watch the world go by just around... More

Great location, close to the Metro. There are some good restaurants nearby. The bathroom was tiny, but this is to be expected in Paris. Friendly staff. If you're travelling on a budget I would recommend this hotel.

Clean and cozy hotel, friendly staff, simple but comfortable room (room number 4), with a wide window, comfortable double bed, bathroom tiny but in excellent condition. 3min walk from metro station Porte d`Orléans (line 4) and 5-10min walk from station Alésia (line 4) and avenue general léclerc, with supermarket, restaurants, fast food chains and commerce. Boulangeries and brasseries on the... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
