Good guest service, good breakfast but room is very dusty. Housekeeping didn't do a good job, we sneezed a lot throughout the night. Water was no replenished daily. Aircon was also on heater mode till 30 April so u have to open window which added more dust. Location not bad but not great. Choose other hotel if u can.

The location of the hotel could not be faulted, only a short walk from Gare do Nord and great value for money. The bed was very comfortable, and the room clean and big enough. The only problem was I could not get the air con to work properly, as the weather outside was good the room was too warm to... More

We booked this hotel using "name your own price" on Priceline, so we didn't choose it but did enjoy our stay. It's clean and in a decent location. If you have a room facing the Lafayette, it is extremely loud at night. We had to sleep with our windows shut and the air conditioning they say they have is a... More

Been to many high end hotel such as St. Regis, the Ritz, Four season etc... I did not disappointed with this small, reasonable rate, and excellent services for this hotel. I arrived early in the morning and able to check-in immediately without waiting.

I was in Paris during the 2 days of good weather and the heating/cooling system in the room is centrally controlled. This made the room boiling hot and difficult to sleep. They had to provide me a fan for the night. The biggest drawback of this hotel is that the temperature control is central and you cannot adjust it for... More

The hotel is very nice. But the room was a bit noisy due to the large road just outside the window but that is what you can expect when your are i a large city. Staff was friendly and they spoke English.

They were very accommodating. The rooms were a little smaller than depicted on the pictures but overall superb customer service! The concierge was extremely knowledgeable on tour guides and was extremely willing to help plan our short stay for maximum use of our time. All of Soe's recommendations were an addition to our amazing trip experience in Paris!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
