Room is small, but the bathroom is big. The hotel is under renovation. So can't walk out on the balcony, what a pity. Location is good. Close to the main street. The breakfast is good quality but the choice is not too much. If take family to Paris, the room is too small, but for business trip, the room size... More

Giving a hotel an excellent rating is rare, but this hotel was more than "very good". The location is two stops away from Opera and that means about 3 minutes by metro. There are two stops about a block in either direction and it is right on the lines (7 and/or 8) that hit most of the major sites in... More

Yes, the hotel is undergoing renovations. However, it did not interfere what so ever with my wife and I’s stay in Paris. Unless you plan on sleeping the day away you should not worry about the construction, as it was a only a minor inconvenience for us. They did not begin until 8am so if you are flying directly to... Renovations happening on the outside & inside of the building. No prior warning & I had spoken with hotel a couple of times prior to arriving. The hotel is pushing to be a 3 star hotel. If you like 4-5 star accommodation this is not for you.

The hotel is undergoing huge renovations so do not expect to sleep in as the unavoidable noise starts at 8am. We had 3 rooms and they were quite good considering all the work going on outside. There was no mention of the work being done on their web site which should have been mentioned. The front desk staff were very... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry that the renovations are able to disturb you during your stay. As you point out, our rooms were beginning to grow old, which is why we started this work. The hotel is undergoing heavy renovation inside and outside. Of course no warning on their website or on the phone. No discount on expensive rooms for the inconvenience. The hall way is full of workers, the narrow hallway walls being painted. Worker in our room when we returned... The room was tiny, smelly, outdated. We asked for a larger room.... More

We have just returned from a trip to Paris and had stayed at this hotel. When we arrived we were horrified to think that we would have to spend our precious 6 days on a building site (like most of the other guests we were not informed that major renovations were taking place). HOWEVER, once we spoke to the extremely... More

I booked a room in Hotel Opera Cadet, but that room was double booked, so they changed me to this hotel. When we arrived it was immediately clear that the hotel was in a major renovation project. Location is fine. Shower is fine. But the hotel is in complete renovation, which may last I expect more than 1/2 year. It spoiled our short holiday end April, begin May. Our rooms were smal. Everywhere dust from building activities. Our airco leaked water, due to a blocked drain by the dust. (positive was: this was fixed quickly) Our window... More
