Stayed a couple of days in the run up to Christmas. Nicely renovated hotel with lovely room in the heart of Paris. Great location to explore the city from with easy access to metro and walking distance of Gare du Nord. Would definitely stay again and quality of room higher that most other hotels of this size that I have... More

We arrived late at night. Once we arrived the room we got were awfully small and not for our travelling size. However the front desk suggested a bigger room with a reasonable cost extra. The next day we roam around and the halal food are everywhere near the hotel which a big plus. Galleria LaFayette also a walking distance. Metro... More

Overall rating: this hotel is more a three star then four; small room (for Paris acceptable but not for a four star hotel), noice protection not sufficient, breakfast in the underground floor without natural light, service not the best, food average, but nothing special and for 19 € too expensive (normal price for htis in Paris is 13 -15€). Good... More

You cannot beat the value for the price paid. The rooms are smaller, but that is what you can expect in any European hotel. I found it quite cozy and comfortable. It felt very Parisian too even despite this being what I thought would be a chain hotel, plus a great balcony overlooking the busy street below, a must when... More

I was just there with a friend for three nights. Calling it a four-star hotel might be a little stretch, but I know in Europe their definition of a four star hotel is a bit different than what we think in the US. My room was pretty small... you could barely fit your suitcase in there, around the bed and... More

For 142 euros per night including breakfast for two it would be wrong to expect the world. This is a steady to good option 10 minutes work from the Opera and well sited for the Metro. The room was very small but well decorated although the bathroom could do with a touch of tlc. All in all not the best... More

The BEST WESTERN PREMIER OPERA FAUBOURG is a small, modern, city-centre hotel and it’s quite clear that it’s been recently refurbished. Even though I had a room right next to the lift, I found it completely quiet. The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel, even the stairwell, was smart and clean. The location of this hotel is very central... More

Oh dear. A hotel we use for business travel so was expecting better. Tiny, tiny room - a converted broom cupboard with a bed that almost touches both walls so you have to climb on the end. Bathroom so small there is nowhere to put toiletries etc, nowhere to hang your towel so ends up having to be left in... More

It is our second time we are staying in this hotel. We actually were offered to be booked in a different hotel and were insisted on this one. Since last time, the hotel went through extensive renovation. The rooms are beautifully decorated, so are the lobby and the dining room. The room we were staying was located on the 6... More

Hotel was clean and London themed. Clean but pretty small rooms. Good location, close to food, grocery, activities and metro. Staff was friendly and helpful - a bit uppity but it's Paris in the Opera district. Happy with hotel and entire experience - would stay here again!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
