I have been to Paris many times since I was a child to visit friends & family as well as for business. This time, I was there for a couple of days with my daughter on our way home to the US and all I wanted was to stroll around this magnificent city and take it all in, no pressure... More

Friendly and helpful staff, quick and easy check in/out. Good size room for Paris and very clean. Ideal location, 2 min walk from metro on the line that goes straight to the Louvre. We would definitely stay again!

This hotel is fairly central and close to metro. It is walking distance to the Opera and to Galleries Lafayette. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The elevator is tiny and slow so do not be in a hurry. The staff was helpful, but several had more limited English than my limited French - however, we managed to... More

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel, we found the staff extremely helpful and friendly! The room was a really good size, especially for the centre of Paris, we had a junior suite and thought the curtain separating us from our daughter who was on the sofa bed, worked really well. We really liked the location, a little off... More

I had to book this hotel as a last resort after having a bad experience with a rental apartment. I was offered an upgrade for 40Euros a night that included a superior room with breakfast. We walked in the room at 4PM and the room was not ready. We had to go out to lunch and wait for our room... More

This is a FAKE 4starts hotel. Very small room size. Poor wifi connections. Super noisy. Windows are not sound prouf, being the hotel located in a busy street. Bad service: nobody at night attending guests. Very bad design: no taste at all. Elevators broken: no service for hours. Poor breakfast.

Very clean and located less then a block from the metro. Lots of restaurants near by and hotel staff recommended a lot of good places to eat. The crepe place next door offers traditional crepe for 2-3 euro! Patrick the butler and Maurice were by far the most helpful at the front dest. They mapped out the metro for us... More

L'Opera Garnier and Lafayette Galeries at 10 blocks from Hotel. Metro station at 1 block. The front desk people were all so kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you need when traveling. There are cafes and 1 good restaurant just in front of Hotel. I would return to this hotel again.

Paid over $350 per night for three nights and I have to go to the lobby close to midnight to get wash clothes to shower in the morning. Only thing great was the closeness to the Paris Metro and a decent morning breakfast. The breakfast attendants were all very pleasant especially the young Asian looking man. I will never stay... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
