We found this little boutique hotel online and booked it without even knowing the area. It was amazing. The location was excellent, next to the Metro station, cafes, restos, and walking distance to many attractions in Paris. We loved it. The service was great, always clean, everybody was so friendly and accommodating. We got the package room and breakfast, and... More

My wife and I with our 16 month old son spent 3 nights in this hotel in the week before Christmas and had a great overall experience. We arrived at 9am after 30 hours travel and our room wasn't ready so they offered us one of the balcony rooms with Eiffel Tower views for 60Euro a night on top of... More

I returned to Hotel Le Littre in January to spend my birthday in Paris after a first stay in August of 2015. I cannot say enough about the staff. So accommodating and always pleasant. The location is perfect in the accessible 6th arrondissement, steps from major boulevards yet tucked away on a quiet street. The rooms are the most spacious... More

On our first trip to Paris, my friend and I told the travel agent that we did not want a chain hotel that could be in any city in the world, but preferred a small hotel with a distinctly Parisian flair. Le Littre fit the bill quite nicely. The hotel was quite unassuming outside, but the breakfast room was lovely... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
