There is nothing I can say in criticism of this hotel apart from 1 grumpy receptionist. We had a 7th floor room with balcony and stunning view of the Eiffel tower. The room was a good size with a large well equipped bathroom although we had to wait quite a long time for the hot water to work it's way... More

The hotel was wonderful. Great breakfast and their coffee was the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the room. Very comfortable bed. The location worked for us. We could walk everywhere and there were two metro stops nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel

One of the best hotels in Paris (great American breakfast BUFFET and large, fabulous rooms and suites (splurge and ask for balcony AND EIFFEL VIEW), short stroll from Luxembourg gardens and Notre Dame, but out of the crowds, down a quiet street set between busy boulevards w great restaurants, wine and food shops, coffee bars (near famous Les Duex Magots... When we walked in the hotel I thought we had been taken to the wrong place. The hotel is absolutely stunning. Much to our surprise we had been upgraded to room 806 a lovely room with a stunning view. The room was very clean and well stocked. All of the staff smoke english and that helped a lot. The only... More

It is a 4-star hotel and each night costs 200 euros. At least, I expected a good internet signal in my bedroom. I think for 200 euros it is a basic thing to expect. But I was wrong: do not count with the internet signal provided by this hotel. It will only freak you out.

This hotel can be summed up in one word, awful!! Don't stay here. Spend your money at a hotel with service, air conditioning and decent linens. Total disappointment. We paid for one of the most expensive rooms and it was deplorable! I can't imagine how bad the standard room must be. The lobby and breakfast room were renovated, but nothing... More

We did stay at this hotel 2 years ago, and I was won over by the very friendly atmosphere of the hotel staff, which is why we came back. To my surprise, the lobby was completely different, and so was the staff. Apparently, there was a major upgrade. The room was much larger (314), and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet... More

We stayed at the Hotel Le Littre in early July for 3 days. We opted for one of the Eifel Tower view rooms. The room was great and so was the view (Although it was too hot to take full advantage of it). The breakfast was super and the wait staff very personable. It is in a great location in... More

We stayed at this property in July and thoroughly enjoyed it. This hotel has recently been updated and the public rooms and dining room were lovely, as was our triple room. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. We loved the location on a quiet street. Very close to Metro in the Montparnasse area. Convenient to Eiffel Tower, Luxembourg Gardens (a must... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
