5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Had a great time, the hotel has smallish rooms, but the bed and shower (what else do you need) were ample sized. The courtyard was nice, and the people were phenomenal. The location is incredible, short walk to the Louvre, the Bourse, Academie du Music, and Opera Metro is a few blocks away. Would return in a heartbeat.

Visiting Paris is something my family has found to be our primary outlet for education and enjoyment for many years. After staying at a variety of hotels we now have gone back to the Hotel Malte Opera 5 or 6 times. We have found the hotel to be clean, reasonably priced, with a friendly staff and a great location. We... More

I stayed at Malte Opera for two nights. The room was tiny, but it had everything one needs. I appreciateted the fact that breakfast is included in the price (with sufficient variey of foods on offer), while in the afternoon there is a free bar in the lobby with coffee, water, juices and fruits. Nothing extravagant, but really cute! The... More

My partner and I booked a long overdue weekend in Paris and after sifting through the long list of hotels we finally agreed on Hotel Malte Opera - Astotel. The hotel was situated a moments walk from the Louvre museum (one of the main reasons for visiting) and was away from the main tourist roads which was perfect. It was... More

This is an excellent small hotel with a moderate price close to the Louvre and accessible anywhere on the metro, The staff was very attentive and helpful - the manager Ms Estelle Bouche was great about getting us a quiet room on the courtyard #200. the breakfast was good with excellent breads. I would stay there again

Loved this hotel and would stay there again. The hotel is situated close to three metro stations so Paris is opened up to you and you can get anywhere you like. Nearby is the louvre and a 20 min walk will take you to champs élysées however the metro which is so easy and cheap to use will get you... More

Not being at all familiar with Paris and speaking no French, we thought the accommodation may be a challenge, but thanks to the superb staff at Malte Opera we had a very enjoyable stay. Other than a rather smallish room we have only good things to say - quality service / friendly staff / great breakfast / free soft drinks... More

We have been in Paris many times for business and pleasure and stayed in dozens of hotels and apartments. Hotel Malte Opera provides the best overall combination for a couple who wants to get more out of the city. Quiet and clean room on the 4th floor with all the amenities, good variety for breakfast and nice no-frills drinks and... More

We had a lovely stay in this hotel back in September - the staff were very helpful, there was a great selection for breakfast and the location was fab - easy to get to where we wanted to go! Would definitely return.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
