This is the worst hotel that we have stayed at anywhere in the world. There were no towels and the rooms smelt with holes in the carpet. The air conditioning did not work (but couldn't be turned off). The beds were terrible with broken springs and the bathroom door could not be shut.

This hotel was a virtual construction site when we visited. Plastic draped everywhere from foyer upwards. Only an old tiny lift with no help with heavy suitcases! There was old & seemingly dirty carpets on all stairways & in bedrooms and in general areas like breakfast room the carpet had been "patched". Bedrooms that should have been "smoke-free " were... We stayed for 2 nights and will never return to here nor Paris again. Check in was difficult and rude but we managed after 20 minutes. Wouldn't accept my passport to see clearly whatever details required but demanded for me to spell my name repeatedly. Room was live-able. There were electricity, hot water, toilet bowl, towels and bed sheets. Wi-fi... More

It's the WORSE hotel I've never been! Dirty, old, smelly (see the photos!!) the staff... Well, the staff is EXTREMELY unpolite! And the price is a bad joke: 250-400€ per night!! I was on a bussines trip... Never more please!

The Hotel is fantastically located, right adjacent to the palace of the French president. The hotel probably was great when Giscard was elected President back in 1974, but has never seen refurbishment ever since. However, they are doing some kind of work in the building which is undeniable by the amount of dust that settled not only on the hotel... More

The low rating on TripAdvisor is not surprising but you could do worse. It's the sort of place people who are used to the Waldorf would go to and then tell their friends at the club they had “an adventure”. Regardless, you do need to set expectations. The star rating system is about as accurate as a drunken archer so... More

The tiny room with a view of Rue St. Honore is more than made up for by the central location. High end boutiques and art galleries. Steps away from Place de la Concorde and the Tuileries Gardens this is a good place to be if you like walking around Paris. Breakfast is included - not just croissants and jam and... More

Location is good. But the hotel is not too clean. The staffs in the reception were not too helpful. They did not inform us taxi and train on strike and they refused to do anything to help arranging transport. When I asked them to call up a taxi for confirmation, the staff simply dialed the number and passed the phone... More
