Location is excellent because it is close to several metro stations. Reception was correct and friendly. The interior is simple, somewhat cheap and outdated but when you're in Paris, you're not spending a lot of time in your hotel. Rooms are small but cosy. Double bed had two sheets and a blanket. Shower was okay but had some problems giving... More

Our hotel room was on the third floor with no available lift or even service to carry our luggage to begin with. When we got to the top and opened our barely working door we found our room which was ridiculously small. This I can forgive if the shower and bathroom weren't exactly the same. The hotel was obviously in... More

Hotel was clean but very small. We requested a room with two beds but were told on arrival that none was available for the first night. We moved to a two bed the second night but it was on the top floor, there are no lifts. Staff was very good with any information we needed. Remember that just because you... More

Spent 3 nights here on business, had a single room which was extremely small but was enough for getting my head down after some long days. 57 channels and was a little disappointed to not have at least one with English speaking as most European cities I've been to before do but it no big deal. Staff were very friendly... More

Myself and Partner stayed at this hotel and it was perfect for what we needed! The rooms were a little small, however if your not planning spending much time in the hotel it will do you for the weekend. The rooms were cleaned every day that we were there & the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated... More

This hotel really was just perfect for me. I was travelling around Paris alone and needed somewhere to stay for 3 nights that wouldn't cost me a fortune but was still close enough to the city centre. The hotel is literally around the corner from the Metro Line No 1 stop at Porte de Vincennes (La Defense to Chateau de... More

If you are traveling on the budget and want to go to Paris you know you are in trouble from the start. Many hotels without private bathroom and terrible conditions. Few of them offers breakfast included in the rate but only if you pre pay your stay. We found Hotel Le Twelve which had reasonable overnight rates and booking conditions.... More

Staying outside the city centre is cheaper, a few stations on the metro, easy to find and a lovely place to stay.(Metro stop Bastille). On the street by Hotel Twelve is a great market with lots of interesting food. Staff were friendly and got us into our room early. Room was clean and very lovely. Had code to door so... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
