Only stayed one night but it ticked all the boxes for us, great location, big bathroom, clean sheets, quiet room. For so cheap in Paris how can you complain! My partner is French so he had all the interaction with the staff and said they were lovely

had 1 night here on business, nothing special but did not spend too much time in the room, Staff very helpful and the location to the metro was excellent, also just minutes from the Sacre Coeur and about 10 minutes form the moulin Rouge. I would stay here again.

Paris is very small - from this point you cen get pretty much everywhere within 15 minutes, so it's a great place to start the day. The rooms are very small, pretty clean, but everything is pretty old and very cheap - does make the impression of being dirty (but in fact isn't). Not a very romantic place to stay... More

At the end of January 2015 i stayed for one night in this hotel while i booked it one night before since the room had an price-tag of euro 50. I reached the hotel by the next-doors metro some before 11 and when i ringed the doorbell more than two times the hotelowner who only speak french at the reception... More

All round my stay here was pretty pleasant. The location is great with two train stations very close by, one a two minute walk, and the other a 5 minute walk. The room was a decent size and had an ok bathroom. The place is very outdated but that wasn't really an issue. You also have to pay 5 euro's... More

I loved this little hotel, my room, and the people working there. I was on the second floor, with two windows out to the street. The windows were tall, allowing in much light, and I could open them to get fresh air and feel the activity from the street below. It was nice to come back to Montmartre each evening,... More

The hotel is well situated for Montmartre. The Rue d'Orsel is only a brisk 15 walk from Gare du Nord and the Eurostar and is comfortable enough though the fabric of the building is a little tired. Minimalist room with a comfortable bed, a shower and little else. No wardrobes or drawers means I wouldn't want to stay there for... More

The hotel prices in Paris are insane at the moment so we had a hard time finding a good hotel for a decent price close to the city center. We stayed four nights in this hotel in october. I like Montmartre and it was close to the subway. My expectations were very low, but the room was much bigger than... More

Positive part about this hotel is location. 2 mins walk from metro Anvers and Sacre Coeur. but the room is so bad, so in my opinion better pick up a hotel a bit further from metro but with decent facility then stay in bearnais. We were staying in room overlooking courtyard. and in the morning from window come not fresh... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
