Really really disappointed with our stay, I went by what the reviews said on booking.com and was more than happy to go with the chosen destination. The pictures were very deseptive, certainly wasn't as spacious as we thought and most definately not very clean. The pictures posted are clearly what were taken the day the appartments were decorated, looking very... More

Last week I stayed in the apartment Constance, which is in a great location sadly this is its one redeeming feature (that is why I have given it the one point). Firstly I had read the other reviews before booking and the negativity was mostly to do with the service provided by the staff and I thought that for all... More

The apartment is not bad. The staff is. To start with one has to pick up keys at a certain location and there is no mention of the fact anywhere in any communication to the real location of the apartment. Then, the first day we were there, there was a leakage issue. We are asked not to use the bath... More

This was the first time I decided to try an appartment vacation rental and probably my last. The hotel to pick up the key was very hard to find even with an experienced taxi driver, it took him 20 minutes driving around the area. After that the staff was friendly and helpful but the appartment itself was dark and damp... More

As the other reviews say, you collect your keys from a hotel and then apartments are located differently, but that wasn't a problem as the apartment was very close by, and its good that you can leave bags in the hotel on check-in / check-out day! However, we did not have a great experience on arrival... Firstly we arrived around... More

We had an enjoyable stay in our apartment. Yes the Apartment was not located at the Hotel. Not sure why a previous reviewer was confused about this? Did you ask? Heard of Google Maps? The apartment was cozy and will fit 2 - 4 nicely. It is in need of some small touch ups, but nothing that would impact or... More

Things started badly because we had to collect the apartment key from a hotel miles away from our actual apartment. We would have to drag our bags up the massive hill that the Sacre Coeur is built on. So in reality its a long taxi ride around the one-way streets of Montmartre between your check in and your room. The... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
