Arrived at 5.30am due to a taxi strike in the city, but as promised, there was a member of the reception staff there to meet us. Our room was on the ground floor, just adjacent to reception. It was small, but, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a really good shower which was welcome after our... More

Reasonably priced located in south of Paris. Maybe by chance but quite noisy hotel (maybe by chance but nieghbour next door had tv on which was really quite loud) but with good bed in quite small room. Breakfast was quite big (especially for french standards). Nice parc opposite of the hotel.

This is in a good location near the RER cite universite with easy access to both Orly and CDG airports If coming from Orly it is a quick 25 euro taxi ride. Don't do this from CDG as too expensive Quiet safe clean and no frills Great wifi Good brasserie down the road Half the price of other nearby chains... More

Very easy to get to as close to railway. In a pleasant location next to the park and Cite Universitaire. Ground floor room was small but adequate and quiet. Breakfast was ok. The staff were very helpful. Would return.

This is very small hotel close to Parc Montsouris in the limits of Paris. Is not luxurious or anything. The elevator barely fits one person and the beds are not the greatest, but it is quiet and there is no noise, so if you are visiting paris of a budget and will most likely be out all day, this is... We booked a family room and it was extremely smal, old furniture, rusty bathroom, sime spiders, elevator for one person and its luggage. On the other hand the location is pretty nice with the parc nearby

I stayed here with my husband because he attended a conference in the area. The hotel is what you would expect for a 2 to 3 star. Rooms were clean, good wifi though you need a code/password for each device (we had iphones and ipads), staff were friendly, limited english if that's something you require. No air conditioning, but the... More

Really nice little hotel, right next to Parc Montsouris. I would stay in the university area again, about 4 tube stops to the centre and feels quite safe. The hotel rooms are very basic, we paid for a superior but I'm not sure that's what we got. But overall very nice.

Hotel looks old situated in a side street, very near to a beautiful parc, nice place for jogging and a nice walk in the green. Good for commuting as metro and RER are at walking distance. I had a room at the ground floor next to the lift, the room was very small but ok if you are travelling very... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
