Mostly positive points for our two night stay: - excellent bed - very quiet - good-sized room and bathroom - contemporary and interesting decoration - friendly and helpful staff A few negatives: - wifi reception (had to put in code at each connection) - would be nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in room - no room service even though... I highly recommend the hotel. Located in the Opera District, it had wonderful shopping, cafes and nightlife. The staff was delightful. They had wonderful suggestions and the breakfast was perfect. A short walk to the Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. Rooms were quaint and clean. Can't wait to return to Paris and stay at the hotel.

I took my partner to Paris for his birthday mid July for a mini break. We stayed at the Hotel Tour d'Auvergne for two nights. From arrival to departure, the staff were absolutely fantastic and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is very small and quirky, however not in a bad way, it was perfect. The... More

We loved this place. The staff made us feel like home. It would have been just perfect if the room came with a coffee machine, and shower curtain. Advice for people who decide to use the shuttle service to the airport: make sure you know what terminal you fly out at. The guy that took us to the airport dropped... More

My husband discovered this hotel while in Paris for business. It fit his needs perfectly and when we had the opportunity to visit Paris, we chose Hotel Tour d'Auvergne. The hotel has been renovated recently and has many nice, modern upgrades. It has not lost its quirky, distinctly Parisienne charm. The rooms come in all shapes and sizes - and... More

VERY detailed review! This was my first time in Paris. I guess every one would feel a bit scared at first in a new place like i was. The first impression of this hotel was not that impressive because i was hoping for more to see. (Due to the positive comments in trip advisor). I want to tell you something.... More

A charming hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. I only stayed here for one night on a business trip, but I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition, tastefully decorated and well stocked for the business traveler with WiFi and even USB power connections. Breakfast was good with pastries, fresh fruit... More

Although our trip in Paris was not the best due to scammers. We absolutely loved our hotel. Locals might not be helpful or patient but the staff at this hotel are always willing to help. Narcisse in particular was always there to greet us no matter how occupied he was. He has such a good memory and made us feel... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
