I've stayed here several times, and love the cosy intimate atmosphere of this little hotel, right opposite the Louvre, but in a quiet side street. Perfect for a short visit, with the Louvre and the river on the doorstep - and most important, a comfy bed.

Chose this hotel out of a guidebook because it was supposed to be good for families. We had 2 adjoining rooms which was fab. They were small but having a Tv in each room and a show room in one and bath in another - made it ideal for us with 2 adults and 3 children. We were greeted v... More

This hotel is perfectly located near the Louvre/Pont Neuf and close to two Metro lines. Easy walk to most of the tourist sites. Staff is extremely helpful and genuinely want to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We had a lovely room that looked out at the church across the street. Comfortable bedding, nice size bathroom.

When I set out to find a hotel in Paris, I had a list of requirements: an elevator, air conditioning, a tub as well as a shower, and, of course, location. Relais du Louvre met all of these requirements and beyond. The room was charmingly decorated, the bath was quite large for Paris, there was a mini-bar, and the staff... More

I reserved based on a friends recommendation. Right next to the Louvre, and other sights. Friendly staff, spoke English. They gave us hints on metro, buses, sights, and helped us book a tour on the Seine River, which I recommend. The elevator or took us up to our rooms. Everything is impeccable. The 2 person room was small but acceptable.... More

I was very pleased with Relais du Louvre. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, the location excellent and the continental breakfast really good! My room was not large and there was no dining room (breakfast was delivered to my room), but the building was historic and charming. I would definitely go back.

Le Relais du Louvre was perfect for our stay in Paris. It is conveniently located near the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay along with easy access to the boat rides down the Seine. The staff were very accommodating and the room was pleasant. Breakfast was generous with croissants, yogurt, cheese, and pastry. We would recommend this hotel to others, particularly first-time... We spent two nights on our way down to and back from a visit to the Aix-en-Provence music festival because, having been here in the past before family etc. commitments made visits to Paris infrequent, we still regard this lovely hotel the scene of our most agreeable memories of the city - for reasons very clearly appreciated by other visitors... The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. Our room was large and everything was present --> good bed, bathroom with bath, seperate toilet, nespresso machine, airco, minibar, ... The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of Paris, right next to to the Louvre and the Samaritaine.

I stayed in this beautifully maintained hotel for almost 10 days. It has the most efficient and helpful staff and the perfect location just next door to Louvre. I would recommend this hotel to everyone many times over. I know ill be here next time too. Caretakers Sophie and Friedrich were excellent. So were the others. A big thumbs up!

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
