we had a good stay overall. the hotel is ideally located in the center and quiet at the same time. my only real complain is that the toilet in our room smelled of sewage all the time, even though it was spotlessly clean by looking. I understand that the building and its pipe is old, but it would have been... More

Dear Sir, I thank you very much for your nice message about our hotel and your stay. Thanks to your remark I checked all bathrooms and discovered in 2 of them a leek under the bathtub, small but there obviously since a long time (same origin in both of them located above eachother) which is certainely what caused this smell... In general, I had a Comfortable stay. This hotel is clean, staff are friendly and it is in an excellent location to metro and site seeings. Only drawback is the small size of shower place, I am slim but still feel difficult to move around.

Small and beautiful hotel very near to louvre ( 5min walking to the entry of the pyramide). Helpful staff, good tips for restaurants. Small as expected, but clean room. Good shower/bath.Nice view to the church of St.Germain.

Upon arriving at Le Relais du Louvre, we were informed that they had cancelled our reservation. As you can imagine, having been travelling all morning, this was quite distressing. For me; a shock. To my 81 year old Grandmother, horrifying. Her first time in Paris, the purpose of our trip, and she was now without a bed to sleep. The... More

Dar Madam, Dear Sir, My name is Sophie Aulnette and I am the manager of the Hotel Relais du Louvre. This message you posted on Tripadvisor is totally unfair (apart of the fact that it is not allowed to leave messages about a place you have not staid at) because of the following reasons: 1/ on January 10th at 9.28... Just back from a lovely weekend in Paris. The weather was really cold but this little hotel was cosy & warm & very welcoming. The room was small but that's not unusual for Paris. We had a gargoyle staring in at us from the church next door ( worth a look at)!Once we arrived, a short walk from the Metro,... More

We spent two nights at the Relais between Christmas and New Year and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is right across the road from the Louvre and one block from the Seine. It is a traditional-style boutique with the antique look. Our room was very small but comfortable and though it was very cold at the time of our... More

When squeezing the max out of a short cultural visit to Paris, it is vital to have a comfortable and convenient base. Le Relais du Louvre fits the bill superbly. I've stayed alone and with my daughters, on both occasions the stay was memorably relaxing. To stroll at opening time to the pyramide is a rare luxury; the rue de... More

I booked two rooms at this hotel a classic double on the first floor for my daughter and a superior double on the ground floor overlooking inner courtyard for my wife and me. Both rooms were very well presented. My daughter room was on the small side which is often the case in Paris but our room was a good... More

This is a little gem of a hotel, in a fabulous location. The staff was very friendly & spoke excellent English. They helped us book our Normandy day trip, tickets to the Louvre, recommended a reasonably priced restaurant, and directions to the closest Apple store (we brought the wrong cord, whoops!). Our room was the perfect size for a family... More
