Small room but great location & staff!! Close to many metro lines. Clean room. No complaints whatsoever! Lots to do/eat nearby. 2 minute walk to lock bridge & 4 mins to notre dame. We didn't eat the breakfast there so can't comment on that. Air conditioning was a great relief!!!! The elevator was super tiny but fine. I would stay... More

When I read the reviews of Agora hotel here I was looking forward to my stay in a nice and comfortable hotel. Unfortunately the hotel was far from that. It seems the people who wrote these reviews either stayed in a completely different property or never stayed in nice hotels before. Hotel Agora was very basic, very tired, wallpaper was... More

Situated on a quiet street in the Latin Quarter, this hotel is only about a 10 min walk to the Seine & Notre Dame as well as to the Pantheon. Loved the location! Several cafes near by, including a fantastic collection of shops right at the Maubert metro stop (outdoor marche, patisserie, boulangerie, charcuterie, etc) The staff was multi-lingual, friendly,... This hotel is perfectly located, being within walking distance of many of the attractions in the centre of Paris and very close to Maubert – Mutualité Metro station. If you are arriving by RER from Charles De Gaulle airport, alight at St. Michel Notre-Dame and then it is a short walk to the hotel. Check-in was quick and the reception... More

Have stayed in this area when in Paris many times over the last 30 years. The Agora Saint-Germain Hotel is a wonderful find. The rooms were nicely appointed and the front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when back in Paris

If you visit Paris for sightseeing or walking it is one of the best hotels for it. Very friendly and helpfull stuff, very good location (5 minutes to Notre Dame de Paris, 15 minutes to Luvr by feet). Hotel stays on the small and quiet street. You can have breakfast at the hotel or in a cafe around. (our choice... More

The reason to stay here is really location. We never had to get any transport the entire weekend- it is just round the corner from the Notre Dame and we just walked down the river from there. A slight word of warning- the rooms are very compact and the baths in particular are very small.

I booked this Hotel bc of the location and price. It was in an Excellent location. Minutes away from all the restaurants and cafes you need. It is 2 blocks from a metro stop. Would recommend this Hotel to younger and older couples. Or just friends on vacation.

Our six night stay at Hotel Agora Saint Germain could not have been better. The hotel's location was perfect for all of the areas of Paris we visited. The staff went out of their way to help us with any detail not matter how trivial. Our deluxe room with a street view was spotless and had plenty of room. We... More

Hi , I had a wonderful stay at this well situated hotel in Paris. After our initial shock of the size of the elevator " two people and two small carry on" and it was tight. The room was small but clean and a good sized bathroom, " bath tub was a bit high for short me and not good... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
