This was our 7th stay at this hotel in as many years, so one can easily conclude that we like it. The location is good and relatively safe. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are very comfortable although a bit on the small side. Guests have access to free WiFi which is an important bonus for us. The staff,... More

The location of this hotel is just perfect, situated about a 5 minute walk from Notre Dame. There is someone on reception 24/7 all of whom speak very good English. The lift is tiny in true Parisian style and just big enough for 2 people and a suitcase. We were on the 4th floor and didn't think our room was... More

The location is golden. You can walk everywhere! Google this hotel. You'll see that it's nearby all major landmarks. I had the Comfort Double room. It is not that big but can fit 2 people. My guess is that in Paris, you won't get huge rooms at this kind of price. Stayed for 6 nights - around 875 Euros including... More

Hotel Agora is an example of classic elegance; the room assigned to me and my wife has a window that overlooks a church with bells that ring every half-hour and every hour. It has soft beds and clean bed sheets & pillows that smell very nice. It had WiFi and TV and a mini-ref. Toilet is quite big complete with... More

Myself and My partner stayed at this hotel for three nights. We went for the comfort room and found it to be just as the title says Comfortable. The bed was soft and there was plenty of room. We didn't have much of a view but that didn't bother us, our window let us look down onto the terrace. There... More

Got a good deal for this hotel for a special birthday trip. Excellent location 2 minutes from Boulevard St. Germain. We got a standard double which was quite small but big enough for our needs. Both room and bathroom were kept exceptionally clean by the friendly staff. I would agree with a previous reviewer that the view of the small... More

This hotel has a great location and for that reason we returned there after an absence of 4 years. It is now a little tired once you leave the reception area. We had booked a comfort room (the secod grade of room) the most basic rooms being described as 'standard' . It was at the end of a long narrow... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a quick trip to Paris. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the Notre Dame. We actually managed to walk there from Gare du Nord, although it took 45 minutes so it depends on how energetic you are feeling. If not it's close to the Metro as well... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
