Loved the location of hotel. Very close to loads of cafes, shops and restaurants. The rooms are very small (perhaps not by paris standards) but clean and we had everything we needed. Bathrooms in particular were very modern. We stayed in June with 2 adults and 2 kids and while we were pretty squished in we found this the perfect... More

A three star Hotel de Charm in THE MUST 6eme area of Saint Germain de Pre on The Left Bank. Around the corner from the landmark cafe Flor and Deux Magots. Low season is 15/7-30/8 when all the Parisians have fled the city for their holidays. Not cheap but worth every Euro! Welcoming staff and Management. Privately owned. Wonderful comfy... More

the hotel was close to the metro-on a busy enough street to feel lively but not over-run with noise. ALL of the staff were absolutely delightful in every aspect. They respected our privacy whilst being extremely helpful and attentive-utterly charming. we were made to feel most welcome. The room was beautiful with real attention to detail. It was spacious, pretty... More

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights during the recent heatwave at the end of June. The location is great with plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Also the Metro is very close by. The room was very small with two twin beds pushed right together, and a fairly small bathroom with a just adequate shower. The... More

Great price, great breakfast. The staff were super friendly at the front desk and attended to every need - they were so happy to sort out my travel problems even though they had nothing to do with them. The rooms however were a bit small and the elevator didn't go up to the level the room was at.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. Would recommend this general location and the street is both charming and has plentiful macarons. The hotel is older and quite charming, but as such has tiny rooms - ours was superior and I can't imagine how much smaller a lower priced room would have been. The bathroom did not seem to be... Spent 6 nights here in May 2015 after a few nights in a big chain hotel with no atmosphere and out of the action. Restaurants galore nearby and the Latin... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
