We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during the month of february..Wonderful place! Small but very welcoming and familiar! Our room was PERFECT! Everything is really clean! You can reach the city centre in less than 10 minutes walking! Beautiful position and you have the metro station right there! People who work there are very helpfull and they speak... More

Spent 6 nights here in May 2015 after a few nights in a big chain hotel with no atmosphere and out of the action. This little gem is located a few hundred metres from the River Siene and within easy walking distance of the major attractions such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Sorbonne. Restaurants galore nearby and the Latin... More

I have been to Paris on many occasions but this hotel is one of the best, real value for money and takes some beating. The décor is excellent and with staff to match. Breakfast is served in a small but tastefully decorated room with beautiful display of flowers in the courtyard. The location couldn't be better just 5 mins walk... More

I stayed at this hotel when visiting Paris for the very first time and I was truly impressed. The rooms and the lobby are in an Italian baroque style - quint rooms with floral wall paper. It is rather stylish and the stuff/ reception were very helpful. If you do not know Paris well check the address before getting there... More

Stayed here on a weekend as a surprise treat from the hubby. Although the room was small, one must put that aside as hotels in this area are very expensive. I think the price is reasonable -- in the heart/centre if Paris, very safe posh area, within easy walking distance of places like the bank of Seine, Notre Dame, lots... More

This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel although we have stayed in Paris many times but have never returned to a hotel previously; however, we would certainly return to this one. We liked the decor, nearness to the metro: the staff, cleanliness, breakfast were all excellent. We did find our room was too hot but solved... More

If you love Ibis type hotels do not choose this one but if you would like to spend some nights in a charming place in a classical spot in Paris, this is a great choice. I suggest you book the Superior room (that we had) that is small but comfortable. The regular rooms may be too small. Service was mostly... More

Great location, a short walk from the Metro and in a really nice area. The hotel is very traditional and quite pretty, and although the bedrooms are compact, I've seen smaller. The bathrooms looked very contemporary, newly done, and the showers good and strong. Our only real gripe was the temperature of our room - incredibly hot and stuffy. After... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
