I really wanted to give this hotel a better rating but my husband and I have mixed feelings about it. I booked the hotel using an external website and booked a triple room for my husband, daughter and I. Upon check-in we were given to rooms - a double with 2 twin beds and a single with 1 twin bed.... I squeezed into this room, although small it was perfectly clean and well serviced. It is in what I consider to be the perfect location, because the district has so much to offer. The front desk staff were smartly dressed and friendly. they took care of my case for a while after checkout, storing it in a locked, baggage room.... More

This hotel is right on Rue Cler. The room was big and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. If you have a room with a window on the street you can enjoy the morning preparations of the markets.

An acquaintance recommended this hotel. She’s a French teacher and brings students to Paris every year. She warned me she likes simple. Basic. If there is a level below that, that’s where you’ll find the Grand Hotel Leveque. There are many different room combinations – doubles, singles, with bathrooms, without bathrooms. There were five in our party so we had... More

The room although small was very clean and well decorated. The location is brilliant, plenty of shops cafes bars close buy and the nearest metro about a 5 minute walk. I would defiantly stay here again .

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Grand Hotel Leveque. The street outside the hotel is charming - many cafes, bakeries, fruit vendors, and small boutiques. There is also an ice cream cart on this street selling very tasty ice creams. An easy walk (10 minutes) to the Eiffel Tower. Also short walk (7 min) to nearest metro station and... More

Walk onto a cobbled street with little traffic, but bustling cafes, shops (wine, cheese, travel and more) easy walk to seine- take a bottle of wine and sit along the river. Great location - 10 min walk to tower. Lots of places to eat. Friendly staff, Internet was spotty in room, computer in lobby. Small rooms , comfortable bed.

I have stayed in many hotels in Paris over the years for many different prices and in different parts of the city. This one on Rue Cler (which is a lovely, though now too touristy area) is totally over-priced and over-rated. The room was dark, dingy and very tiny. They appear to put most of their budget into bathroom renovations... More

Grand Hotel Leveque is in a area with many cafes and small shops selling cheese, flowers and fruit and veg - enchanting yet close to major sights of Paris. Hotel is small and room small but not tiny. My room on 3rd floor overlooked a courtyard so was nice to have windows open during hot nights. Reception constantly staffed and... More

This hotel is in a great location. Cafes, fruit stands, cheese shops, bakeries, boutiques and cute flower shops line the street. The staff is very helpful. 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. 5 minutes to metro. There is an ATM across the street from the hotel. There is also a store if you want to save money on eating out.... Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
