Have stayed here many times over the past 30 years. It's inexpensive compared to other hotels in Paris. The biggest draw is the street Rue de Cler. Cobblestone, it is a hub of activity for the locals. All the venders put there goods for sale on the avenue. The smells of cheese, flowers, fresh bakery goods, are there to enjoy... More

That about sums up the best attribute of this hotel. On a small street full of restaurants, produce stands and stores. Close to Eiffel Tower. And, like most places in Paris, not far from a Metro stop. Of course, a very touristy area! Rooms are tiny incl the bathroom. A/C did not work in our room, till we went down... More

Dear clients, Thank you so much for this kind message! We are indeed very fortunate to be located in the heart of Paris, in the elegant seventh arrondissement. To adise, the AC is officialy activated from May period but because of the great temperature we had to switch it on earlier . So we did it on your request. The... More

Location, location, location....that's the best feature of this hotel. Nice friendly staff and clean rooms. Rooms are not large by any means but spacious enough for someone like me that didn't plan on staying indoors too long. Rue Cler where the hotel is situated is fabulous. Little shops, restaurants, flower markets and fruit stands make you feel you're in a... More

Very pleasant and positive experience in this lovely hotel. Absolutely fantastic location, just a couple streets away from the Eiffel Tour and Place des Invalides. There is a metro at the end of the street with access to all the major attractions so really easy to get around. The cobbled street it is located on, Rue Cler, is very pretty... More

The Grand Hotel Lévêque is a nice little hotel on the Rue Cler in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. The rooms are small but exceptionally clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and two metro stations — La Tour Marborgue and Ecole Militaire. A great place to stay in Paris!!

Grand Hotel Leveque is a very nice small hotel in a great location in Paris. We found the hotel very clean with an outstanding staff. Hotel is central for visiting Paris only 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower and with in walking distance of most attractions. Just 2 block from the Metro. We had a room on the 3rd floor... More

We stayed at this hotel 40 years ago and not much has changed. It still oozes old Paris where you might expect Maigret to appear. It now has en-suite although apart from shower gel no toiletries. The receptionist now speaks good English and is very friendly and helpful. We had a superior room overlooking the street and it was delightful... More

The hotel overlooks a traffic free zone with shops displaying their wares in the open air, and many cafes. It is like a shoebox squeezed in and subsequently reception area is narrow and seatless, and the lift, as mentioned by others, is miniscule. My room overlooked the street and the bathroom was spotless. A hook or two in the bathroom... More

Pro: the location was nice, easy walk to Eiffel tower, and the street and area around were nice. Cons: the Eiffel tower isn't the only thing to see and do in Paris. The elevator was barely big enough for two people. My husband and I were traveling for two weeks and had large luggage, we were on fifth floor...we had... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
