I often pass through Paris and as most you get into habits of returning to the same place. In this case I tried a new place on the same street of my usual hotel and I found that Hotel Delavigne is by far much friendlier comfortable and better priced. I will certainly be returning given how well situated it is... More

Wonderfully located into Paris romantic and artistic neighborhood (St Germain), 2' walk away from mythical bars (Les Editeurs and Le Hibou), refurbished, clean, free internet in the rooms... Perfect. Room 54 where I was is above opposite building's rooftop so you have plenty of light. Inconvenients? The room isn't big (3 * hotel) and, as too often, you can hear... More

Stayed here with my daughter on a mother/daughter trip to Paris. My husband had stayed here in the past so was recommended. We stayed in room 42 which is a second floor double room and on the corner of the hotel. Lovely and quiet. Great bed and good shower. Enough storage for bags and shopping! We found the front hotel... Good hotel to stay for business, clean and comfortable and nice staff. The location is super, really close to a couple of the main central station from where you can travel around using both the metro (Odeon) or the RER (Saint-Michel Notre-Dame). It is also on a walking distance to the Tour Eiffel. This area is full of restaurants and... More

We stayed at the Delavigne for 4 nights after a tour of country France. It was in a great spot , walking distance to many of the highlights, near to the Metro and around the corner from some great Parisian restaurants, cafe's and some interesting shopping spots. The front desk staff , especially Francesco and Stephanie were very helpful and... More

This hotel was a lovely surprise. Firstly the location is perfect, just off Boulevard St Michel. So it is easy to walk to the main parts from here and is not far from the metro/RER if you would rather use this. We arrived to the hotel before the room was ready and they were happy to keep our bags in... More

When I was booking this hotel for our first trip to Paris I relied on the comments here on Trip Advisor to know what I was booking. We were so happy with this wonderful little hotel in the best part of the Latin Quarter. Walking distance to great restaurants, shops of St. Germain, bakeries, and Metro station was our regular... We have just returned from three nights at this charming three star hotel in the Latin quarter ( Saint Germain) of Paris. It is situated on two quiet streets near to the Odeon and the Palais & Jardins de Luxembourg. Our double room was on the fourth floor of five and was quite small but well maintained with a comfortable... More

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking to all the major sights. Quiet, clean and very comfortable. Tea/coffee-making facilities are an essential for travellers though ....really surprised they were not provided.

A nice little hotel in a great location in the Odeon area of Paris only a 5 minute walk from the Metro and close to Boulevard St Germain so easy to walk to so many places. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
