We stayed 3 nights. Our room (23) was too small for the two of us and two bags. The bathroom was large compared to the room. That said the service by the man at the front desk was excellent. He appears to have a 4-star professional demeanor. There were a couple of issues that he listened to, explained what happened... More

the Hotel Delavigne is well placed to access Charles De Gaulle airport easily via Luxembourg Gardens station .The hotel is delightful ,boutique and well kept .There is a lift which was handy as we were on the third floor. It was a small room but airconditioned and quiet . The staff are friendly and well informed and ready to recommend... More

We booked this three star hotel several months in advance as part of a train trip across Europe. We know Paris quite well and were keen to stay on or near to the Boulevard St Germain and its many and varied attractions. The hotel is in a normally quiet side street just three minutes walk from the Odeon metro and... More

I really wanted to find a hotel in the Saint Germain Des Pres area, and Hotel Delavigne was perfect! I needed a vacation, beeing a single mom of two boys, so the whole vacation was very impulsive and not planned ahead. My mother decided to come with me at last minute. I had a double room(bath with tub and shower).... More

We tried a new place in Paris and was not disappointed at all. Very nice staff in the reception to help us e.x. with storing our suitcases and writing out boarding passes. Not a very big room but enough and the bathroom was much space with a tub and shower in one. The hotel was in a quiet road though... More

I stayed here for five nights over the New Year with family and friends. We booked a triple room and a double, both of which were clean, attractive and functional. They weren't particularly spacious, but hotels in the centre of Paris seldom are, and there was still perfectly adequate room. The location is great, in a very quiet street in... More

My husband and I just stayed 3 nights at this hotel in the heart of the Latin quarter. The location is excellent and in a walking distance from many interesting sights, great restaurants and bars. The staff was delightful, nice, helpful and always with a big smile and a good advice either on where to go, what to see or... More

I often pass through Paris and as most you get into habits of returning to the same place. In this case I tried a new place on the same street of my usual hotel and I found that Hotel Delavigne is by far much friendlier comfortable and better priced. I will certainly be returning given how well situated it is... More

Wonderfully located into Paris romantic and artistic neighborhood (St Germain), 2' walk away from mythical bars (Les Editeurs and Le Hibou), refurbished, clean, free internet in the rooms... Perfect. Room 54 where I was is above opposite building's rooftop so you have plenty of light. Inconvenients? The room isn't big (3 * hotel) and, as too often, you can hear... More

Stayed here with my daughter on a mother/daughter trip to Paris. My husband had stayed here in the past so was recommended. We stayed in room 42 which is a second floor double room and on the corner of the hotel. Lovely and quiet. Great bed and good shower. Enough storage for bags and shopping! We found the front hotel... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
