If you're looking for a quiet hotel in the safest part of Paris this is it. I love this location, it's always my first choice. A short walking distance to Norte Damn, then hop on hop off bus stop, the BEST little breakfast restraunts and a few shops. If you like night life and wild parties this is not the... More

My mom and and stayed here for two weeks. We loved it! The location couldn't be any better and the staff was super helpful and friendly, especially Bernard. Our suitcases were lost at the airport. We told Bernard when we got there and he proceeded to call the airport and take care of it. He even put the bags in... More

Very nice small hotel in bustling street. Rustic and cozy design with comfortable rooms. Breakfast is basic. Bread and croissants good and fresh. Hotel is soundproof towards street but and not inside. Heavy chairs shuffled around on tile floors make a lot of noise. Perfect location.

This is the second time I stayed here. I love the location. And the staff are very helpful. I especially like Bernard at the front desk. The rooms are small and cozy, and very clean. The bathroom was modern and very clean. (My only suggestion would be new towels- ours were paper thin.) The bed is very comfortable. I love... More

This is a small boutique hotel located on the western end of the Rue St Louis en l'Ile - the smaller of the two islands in the center of Paris. The island is a relatively quiet and extremely charming place to stay. The room and bathroom were on the small side, as would be expected, but the water pressure and... More

My mother and I spent a week at Hotel Saint-Louis en 'Isle - it was a perfect location to the sights and transport. A surprisingly quiet location we felt happy and secure here. Pleasantly decorated and all the comforts of home. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was my first visit to Paris and I highly recommend staying on the island. It allows you to be central to everything and still a bit away from the bustle. The Hotel Saint-Louis en L'Isle was a perfect choice for me. My room was comfortable, clean and I had a street side view which allowed me to observe the... More

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel! So close to Notre Dame and public transportation. The street the hotel is located on is great with little shops, stores and delicious places to eat!!! We were on the 5th floor! We had a room for 3 people. Bathroom was fantastic. Room was small, but it was still lovely! The beds were... More

The great five-star location of this delightful but modest hotel (quiet street, walking distance to Notre Dame, easy access to both the right and the left bank) made our first ever trip to Paris a winner. Friendly front-desk staff fluent in English. The two "superior rooms" were clean and had firm comfortable beds above a quiet street. One had a... More

First of all, the location cannot be beat.....literally one block from the Seine. The hotel offers 24/7 access and a very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are small (but that is Eupore...right), and decorated nicely, the bathroom main area w/sink & toilet is very small, but that is to allow room for the best and biggest shower that we... Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
