We took the train in from england through the tunnel. Once to the train station in Paris, we just had to switch over to the subway and get off at the odeon station. The hotel is very close to the station which made it easy to get around Paris. You could also easily walk a couple blocks to the seine... More

Good location. Slow elevator. Good coffee. Room adequate in size. About average to smaller bathroom and bedroom. Lots of tunnelled affect of road noise, although the streets below not as busy as the noise that is made. Clean tidy room.

This is the second time I've stayed at Hotel de Fleurie. It's in a great location. Five- minute walk to Jardin de Luxembourg, Les Deux Magots, rue de Buci, etc, yet fairly quiet. This time however I was first assigned a room whose window looked onto a wall and the only light to the window was as if through a... More

These factors provide a pleasant experience. Not expect a big room, but for Paris standards it is very suitable. You can reach a lot of charming cafés and metro stations in a short walk. The staff is gentle and friendly.

This hotel is incredibly well situated. We walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Orsay and the Rodin museum from here. It is surrounded by a variety of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Lots of sidewalk cafes nearby. The room was tiny but there is ample storage areas so you can unpack. Bed is comfortably firm. Bathroom is good... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for us. It is close to good restaurants, the metro, the RER and lots of sightseeing. The rooms are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is free wi-fi, but it does not work very well on the upper floors. The connection is good on the ground floor and there... More

Having chosen this hotel based on trip advisor reviews we were disappointed in the actual experience. Location of the hotel is fantastic, and for that reason alone we would perhaps return. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep and very handy for the Odeon metro stop. Our room was small (which was as expected) but had very little... More

After coming here many times over the years, this time not so welcoming. Arrived jet lagged and the old guys at the desk barely looked up and told us to come back around 2. Having booked the deluxe 24 (and prepaying the full amount) we found that there was a big remodel going on in the room below...when we came... More

If you want to REALLY be in the Paris of Parisians, in St Germain des Prés, then this is the place to be. It's a small hotel, situated on a quietish roas with not too much traffic, the staff are friendly and helpful, some of the rooms are quite small but well designed. Breakfast is a little expensive, but agreeable.... More

We recently stayed for 3 nights in Hotel de Fleurie. The hotel is in very short walking distance of a Metro station (Odeon) and is located in the Saint Germaine area. Within walking distance there is plenty of nice small restaurants and bars. Also we could pretty much walk to most of the important sights directly from the hotel, Jardin... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
