Three nights at this place. Well located hotel, with big size room and bathroom (for a French hotel)... The breakfast is OK, but for 12 euros you can have better deal at various cafes on the neighborhood. Eiffel Tower is 10 minutes away. From the hotel. Good service overall, except the night guy at the front desk. No hello, no... More

We stayed at the Hotel de l'Empereur as our final hotel after a month-long tour of France. We found the service excellent but you really cannot beat the location. We navigated Paris using the subway and the hotel is about a 2 minute walk to the nearest subway station. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. This was quite... More

Hotel de l'empereur is a quite nice hotel. The room is small but that's alright in view of the location. Indeed it is 10 mins walk from eiffel tower. In the near vicinity you will also get bakeries where you can get some nice croissant baguettes and macaroons. Also there is a taxi stand almost next to it which is... More

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in Nov after a river cruise. We can highly recommend it. The room was nice and roomy by Paris standards and the bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. The bed was large and firm just as we like it and the view from our room of the Invalides at night was... More

We were first time travelers to Paris and and booked this hotel for location and price. We were very impressed with their excellent guest services. It's an easy 10-15 mins walk to Eiffel Tower, metro, Siene River. (Actually we only used the metro to go to Versailles and chose to walk everywhere else.) Not sure if all rooms are the... More

This hotel was very nice, more like a bed and breakfast style, just without breakfast. Friendly staff, a unique and spacious room (for Europe). The hotel is right next to a metro station and you can also walk 10-15 minutes to the Eifel tower or to the saint jermain neighborhood (I loved it!). Highly recommended!

The hotel is advertised as a non smoking hotel. However, the woman that works at the front desk (not sure of her name, but this is a small hotel, she is the only one working during the day) smokes inside the hotel, and it stinks. Te lady who works in the breakfast room in the morning also smokes right there... More

I have been traveling to Paris for years. And we all know how expensive it is to stay at a hotel in the city and how small the rooms generally are unless you want to spend a fortune per night just to sleep. But to my pleasant surprise last month the Hotel de L'Empereur was the exception, offering a generous... More

Nicely decorated inside. Stayed for a 4 nights and can not really fault. If anything the lift is tiny, but that's the case with most of the buildings across Europe. Make sure you get a room with the view of the dome. Beautfiul when it lights up at night. Close to metro as well.

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
