I booked this hotel months in advance, based on it's being well priced for Paris (equivalent to $340 CDN per night) and in a good location, and of course, after checking it out on Tripadvisor. We stayed for 4 nights, end of June 2015. The Invalides is very close, as is the Pont Alexandre, walking distance to Eiffel Tower and... More

We booked a room with a view of Les Invalides, which was beautiful at night! The lift/elevator is pretty small, it'll probably fit two people with the smallest carry-on suitcases they make, any bigger than that and you might have to take it down separately or use the stairs, but the lift was cute and it was interesting seeing it.... Enjoyed staying here during a recent trip to Paris. The location is right in the heart of Paris and the hotel itself was cozy and quaint. The hotel is a short walk from 'La Tour Maubourg' metro station.

My friend and I spent three nights in the hotel de l'Empereur and I couldn't say a bad thing about our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is superb, 5 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and less than 20 to the Champs d'Elysees. Free wifi and air conditioning were a massive plus. We booked... More

This hotel has a beautiful honeymoon room (double view) with a great view, excellent location, and the sheets looked as though they were changed and ironed daily - Magnifique. The elevator is slow but charming, the decor classic, nice little touches (heated towel rail), cross the road to dine or walk a few minutes to the Metro. A stroll down... More

We spent two nights at this hotel. We chose it for a couple specific reasons. One - it had air conditioning. Two - it had a queen sized bed. All the other good stuff was just a bonus. It is right across from the hotel des invalids: absolutely beautiful. It is within walking distance of everything. We walked to the... More

We stayed five nights in this comfortable hotel last week. We appreciated everything about it; the location is perfect for walking to Rue Cler, les Invalides, the Rodin Museum the Eiffel Tower and many other sites. It's just a half block to the nearest metro station. Our room was pleasant, quiet and very comfortable; the bathroom was large with a... More

We booked this hotel because we wanted to be able to walk to and from the Eiffel Tower at night to see it lit up. This hotel is located on a quiet street, about a block from a metro stop about a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The decor was very nice, and the bathroom was modern and... More

This is a good local hotel in the 7th, great location near the Eiffel tower, Grand Palais etc walking distance to market street Rue Cler and many good french restaurants. There is no fridge in the room or tea facilities, or supplied bottled water so it is a basic rather than high end hotel.

We spent one night here on July 7. It was clean, well taken care of and snug. As most European hotels are. The elevator is small, but there are always stairs. The room we had had more room then most rooms in Paris. While the room my son was in was tight. Very little space to walk between foot of... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
