Hotel very well located; rooms are not very big but of a correct size for Paris. Very calm on the court's side, but then view of the parisian roofs (if top floors), for nice view then rather ask for a room rue de Turenne's side. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Loved the location, 5 minute walk to St Paul Metro and surrounded by a maze is streets with some of the best boutiques you could find. No shortage of restaurants either - the hotel is well appointed although there are tiny little details that I would have addressed if was the manager (ceiling in the foyer needed painting, stair carpet... No one can argue that the location is fabulous steps from the place des Vosges Picasso Museum etc. While the basics are fine here the hotel lacks charm. The bathrooms are new and nicer the the bedrooms. Still it is s great value at less than 200 euros a night.

Very-very good location in the Marais, close to everything (Place des Vosges is just around the corner, l'Ile Saint Lous at 15 min, metro Line 1 at 5 minutes' walk, lots and lots of nice shops and restaurants, Carnavalet Museum etc.). Though small, the room was nice, very clean and quiet (opening on a lightwell), the staff was helpful, the... More

The room is small, but the location is great. We wanted to be near Place de Vosges and Bastille. It's a reasonable walk to the Metro, the river and Notre Dame, and excellent food - but that's Paris! Clean room, gracious staff and again, best location. The beds were good, the pillows were good. Noise was typical urban. Breakfast was... More

Great location for a tourist's visit to Paris. Located in the quiet Marais district the hotel is a short walk from the #1 metro line that runs through the heart of Paris. If you are a "walker" the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, along with shopping and restaurants are all within easy reach. The hotel is a boutique... More

Very adequate accommodation, rooms a little small , but that's Paris! Olde worlde with wooden beams, the locality is really good, excellent restaurants and bars filled with locals too! Clean tidy and friendly staff, easy to find a taxi and about 45 minute walk to the Champs Elysee but it is charming walking by the Seine! Its is also the... More

This was a great find for our short stay in Paris. Conveniently located near the Bastille metro, little gem had a wonderful breakfast in its charming basement. The rooms were small, but clean and well appointed. Wifi was free. Price for Paris was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

Small hotel with even smaller rooms, they were clean and resonably well kept though. Strong smell of mould in the elevator but none in our room. Frontdesk was pleasant and helpful, so was the breakfast staff. Breakfast was quite good value considering what you get at some hotels. This one included the possibility to boil your own egg a la... Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
