We had a wonderful four night stay at this hotel. The staff are wonderful and provide great restaurant recommendations. We were able to check in early so didn't even think to ask for a room with a view of the pantheon but I wish we had! Our room, while still great, just faced the back of some buildings. I will... We loved everything about the hotel. My girlfriend arrived in Paris a day before I did since I was traveling for business in another European country. This was both of our first times to Paris. In anticipation, I contacted the hotel and they provided us with detailed instructions on how to navigate the RER (Paris light rail system from the... More

This charming little hotel stole my heart. My husband brought me to Paris to propose and chose the perfect hotel for our 4 night stay. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and offered us their largest room upon check in which was spacious, quaint ,quiet and very clean. The hotel is in the perfect location as it is walking... We have stayed here before, each time our room overlooked the Pantheon. Room closet space and bathroom were fine but there was no free bottle of water, iron or trouser press or coffee making facilities. One day having left our room in the morning returning at 4.00 the room still had not been serviced. The biggest drawback was that all... More

The hotel is in a great spot. It's about a block to the train, so it's easy access to everything. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room itself was clean and welcoming. It just felt Parisian. We had 2 large windows that looked out on the Pantheon. The staff was extremely helpful and allowed us to leave... More

Delightful staff, clean, quiet, comfortable (even with a small room). From the moment we walked in until we left for the airport in a car arranged, by the h9otel, the staff at this hotel were truly cordial and helpful in every way. As for the hotel itself, it is a few blocks from Luxemburg Gardens, which somehow we didn’t get... More

I apologize this is an old review, but I have been meaning to write one as we had an outstanding experience here in July 2013. The decor was beautiful, the location (Latin quarter) was close to most attractions, the view from the room was superb, it was quite and the service was friendly. If I had to note a negative,... My wife and I stayed for 10 nights and it was wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was small but suited our needs and budget, there are larger rooms available if space is an issue. The Hotel only serves breakfast but there are lots of café's and restaurants within a short walk. A convenience store and great... More

My wife and I stayed here two weeks ago, in Room 52. Everything was sparkling-clean, the bed comfortable, the staff pleasant as could be. Our room was a superior room with balcony, which overlooked the Pantheon. Location is convenient to the center of the city—just a short walk to Notre Dame. The view was terrific, and we enjoyed some late-afternoon... More

I made a return to our home away from home in Paris last week. Usually, my wife and I stay here on holiday, but I was traveling solo on business this time and even though my worksite was not near the Grands Hommes I was more than happy to go a little out of my way for another stay here.... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
