Stayed here for a couple of days in April 2010, having travelled from Strasbourg, being stranded in Paris by the volcanic explosion in Iceland. This is the second of the 5 hotels this group operate in Paris that we've stayed at and we're always very pleased.Front desk staff is fabulous.Nothing is too much trouble for them.Rooms are very cozy(read small)but beautifully decorated and very comfortable and very well maintained.Try to get a room facing the Pantheon.

The facts: I paid 240 € for a ‘superior room with a view’. The room had about 16 square meters as stated on the website, but these included a little hallway, two rather large closets and the bathroom. The living & sleeping area itself was about 9 sq.m. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in Paris thanks to the wonderful accomodation of the hotel des Grands Hommes. We come from holland and I've been in Paris for many times in different hotels but the service of the staff of this hotel is beyond all means. The rooms are not so big but this didn't worry us... Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are not xxl but nicely decorated and well equipped. Large (and pricey) underground parking at walking distance. Taxi to main city locations still within "reasonable" limits (18-25EUR). Enjoyable atmosphere. Would definitely return.

I did much advance research on finding the perfect Paris hotel room, but was not prepared for how this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Wonderful location. Better than anything I saw throughout my walks throughout Paris. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept.
