Lucky for us we stayed there only for one night. Room was extremely small, should not be sold for a couple. With window facing a well of building's backyard, no cupboard, no desk, no daylight. We thought in the morning that weather is awful, but it was sunny and beautiful when we finally went out. No Sun, no AC, toilet... More

Dear Madame Dear Sir, The Hotel du Globe is closed and had bee replaced by a lovely 3 stars+ Property. The new hotel is the Tonic Hotel Saint Germain and we don't understand why Trip Advisor is continuing putting all these anteriors reviews of the ancient hotel on our Page. My daughter and I arrived at midnight and the man they had at check in was so rude. We have been to Paris before and honestly have never been treated like that. Then we get into the room and were shocked. We were expecting it to be small having read the other reviews, but it was still a surprise. We... More

We expected the room to be small, so that wasn't a surprise. It's the trade-off you make for a room in about the very best possible location in the whole city. And it is that. The housekeeping staff that made up the room every day was fast, efficient, and courteous. And the front desk staff was beyond compare. I would... More

Darling little hotel, very helpful staff and great location. The rooms are tiny......but for the price and location, I'd say it's a good stay. There is a little market just a couple doors down....but expensive. There is a much cheaper market within a block or two.

This is "Irma la Douce" territory on a delightful street on the left bank. We chose this intimate old hotel for our honeymoon, both the first weekend and last (with an auto trip to Switzerland in between). Housed in a narrow old building where Rue Gregoire de Tours deadends into Rue des Quatres Vents - there's a wrought iron stair... More

I booked a family room for 4 adults and was lookng for somewhere central and not too expensive. This met both my objectives. The rooms are a little on the small side but cleaned everyday, new linen and towels and extremely helpful and friendly staff. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but neadn't have worried. Good place... More

I stayed here whilst on a school trip during Easter 1958. Unfortunately, there is no facility on Tripadvisor to denote this fact. France was still in the grip of post war austerity. 6 of us in a room - some of us had to share double beds. We ate at a first floor restaurant near by where the food was... More

Everything is just disgusting. carpet, walls, doors, toilet, shower, smell. Everything is really bad. Photos they have online is far from reality. I dont even know how they managed to get 2 stars. Its -5 stars maximum.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Europe. There is NO service, NO escalator, the rooms are tiny, dirty and have broken toilets and douche. Over all this is NOT a hotel but a dosshouse. Avoid if possible.
