This hotel is in a great location in St Germsin area. We loved being in this very vibrant area . The staff were excellent , very friendly and helpful. The room was very small , which is to be expected in Europe and given that we had also checked the reviews on TripAdvisor we knew knew what to expect from... More

We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel at first because their website didn't seem to have directions and Google maps was a little vague. It is in a great location though, literally a 10-15 minute walk from Saint-Michel (great restaurants), Notre Dame and even closer to the metro network. We had booked a room with a separate bathroom... More

Loved staying here! I felt very safe and comfortable. Room was fantastic, great facilities and very clean! Lovely staff too. Great location, but still quiet. No faults, definitely recommend (and I'm a fussy girl!)

Dear Sir, We are really sorry for this misunderstanding. When our guests reserve at the Tonic Hotel Saint-Germain they can choose between at least 3 types of rates. Two of them are Flexible rates that you can Cancel until 2 days prior arrival without any charge. You have bought a Not Refundable Rate, the better price available on Booking.com but... More

The Tonic Hotel St Germain is an excellent boutique hotel with lovely, helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and great location close to many cafes, designer shops and the Metro. Had a wonderful stay here.

Small boutique hotel in the heart of St. Germain. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Walking distance to metro, Louvre, Notre Dame and tons of great restaurants. Staff at the hotel was pleasant and helpful. Wifi doesn't work that well due to the buildings old stone walls, but it is free and works well in the lobby.

We booked this hotel for a Girls' weekend in Paris with added breakfast. Sadly, due to an airline strike our trip was delayed a day. The hotel would not make any compensation for the missed night, but did refund the breakfast. Our main issue was when we arrived shortly before 2 the next day, the room which we had paid... More

I stayed at the tonic hotel saint Germain weekend just gone for my boyfriends 21st birthday. I booked the hotel due to it's great location, the reviews were very mixed which I was worried about but when finding the hotel which is just off the main road meters from the metro Odeon my worries disappeared. I'm not sure why so... More

A nicely renovated hotel. The bathrooms need to be fixed water floods everywhere. Stuck listening to the reception desk first night not happy. Then moved upstairs night 2. Actually not worth a stay. The rooms are less than satisfactory.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
