We stayed at the Hotel du Ministere for about 8 days and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful we did not speak French but it was never an issue. The rooms are rather small but that is to be expected in Europe. The bathroom was a good size. Overall we were happy... More

This hotel treasure is tucked away on a quiet street close to the fashion and business center of Paris, the Hotel du Ministère has a contemporary decor and features an art collection. I opened the room door to find a beautifully decorated, spacious loft! It is individually designed with vibrant colors, having a flat-screen inside the wall, a Bose iPod... More

Excellent location. Somewhat uncomfortable rooms. The executive suite had a small tub (challenge to get into)with a hand held shower. Service at the hotel is limited and concierge (older man and woman) wasn't too eager to provide info. Not too bad for the $ but may use improvement. Oh, breakfast for 19 euro was limited.

We stayed a couple of times in this hotel located close to Elysée Palace but in a quite street. We look forward returning in September as we are curious to discover the new extension. This is a design hotel, where the management is close to its clients. The rooms are mis-sized (as usual i Paris) but designed in a contemporary... More

We stayed in the Hotel du Ministere for 3 nights recently. Overall I would say that it was just ok. The room was very modern, but also really small. We didn't feel entirely safe walking back to the room at night in this neighborhood. Nothing menacing, but the streets were generally deserted by 8:00. The staff were pretty hit or... More

Dear Gittarguy, We read your comment with attention, and took note of all the facts you mentionned. Regarding the location of the hotel, we agree that it is a quiet area, but also very safe (two steps from the President’s House), and close to lot of places of interest as the Shopping areas (Galeries Lafayette, rue Faubourg Saint Honoré), Place... We had a wonderful visit at Hotel du Ministere last week! My husband and I arrived early on Monday morning (around 8:00 AM), expecting to just drop off our bags and return later to check in. We were pleasantly surprised not only that our room was already available, but also that we had been upgraded to a suite! The room... More

This hotel was recommended by a friend. Great recommendation. Central location near Place Madeleine with easy access to metro on the Place. Easy to walk to many central Paris sights and shops. Great price value. Not the cheapest but it is like a five star boutique hotel at 3-4 star price. Rooms are typically small but nicely appointed. The staff... More

I love Paris and it is so important for me to be in an area that feels like I am in Paris, not some typical American Chain! This is a gem. Dear BBrown The Hotel du Ministere did not belong to any chain, and that’s why you feel this very special and unique atmosphere. Regarding the Buffet Breakfast served each morning, it has a large selection of healthy and organic products, able to satisfy all the tastes.
