My second visit to this hotel, mainly due to the location, but also I was very pleased with the service that I received. The hotel is 5 minutes from Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre. It is easy walking distance to the Picasso Museum, Notre dame and the George Pompidou Centre. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable, they... More

Mold in shower and below balcony doors. The chair in our room looked like it should have been in a crack house with evidence of sex acts. . . disgusting! Manager is a little jerk with absolutely no idea of how to treat people. They acted like it was a big deal to give us a pot of water & 2... More

Yes, true, the location is excellent. But no, I would never stay here a second time, cause the hotel is just dirty and run down, and the price is/was a disgrace. Our double room was a joke, was not even big enough to be called a single room. The small bed occupied the entire space, so there was no room... More

It is was a very central location for our visit to Paris - we had rooms looking out over the Seine. The hotel staff were very helpful (and arranged a room change so we could have one room with twin beds). There is a small lift which was useful for luggage and for the elderly member of our party to... More

Beautiful building, right on the Seine across the water from the Louvre, so the views from the rooms are amazing. Perfect location within walking distance of all the main sites. Friendly staff. clean rooms (though quite small- but this is Paris!), free and speedy wifi, and a lift! Could not ask for anything more.

The hotel's view from the riverside across to the Louvre is simply unbeatable, mesmerizing at all hours. The rooms are small but reasonably priced and the soundproofing is impressive. Our family occupied 4 rooms on 3 different floors, all with different decor and layouts; #54 is our choice for its size and view. Although other reviewers complained about the elevator,... More

The hotel enjoys a beautiful location and from the windows the view is absolutely spectacular . My room - a single- was small but alltogether quite comfortable with a tiny bathroom, the view was really stunning. Breakfast is rather basic and at 12 Euro definetly overpriced. The staff can be nice and helpful but also rather cold and unfriendly. They... More

Great location right on the river Seine across from the Louvre. This is a reasonably quiet part of town at nights. Small hotel with reasonable rooms and a Few nice restaurants close by. We have Stayed there twice.

Although traveling alone, I took the advice from other reviews and reserved a larger room. Requested upper floor with a balcony but was given a room on the first floor near the stairs. Room was small and in need of a thorough cleaning. Funiture in room was old and worn. If my stay was for longer than one night I... More

During the Feb half term, my partner and I stayed in this charming little hotel on Quai Voltaire, situated along the Seine and opposite the Louvre Museum. We asked specifically in our booking for a room with a view and thankfully they accepted our request and we had a great room on level 4. The views really were great and... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
