This was my tenth stay in the Odeon over the years and it just gets better. The staff are charming and they do manage a welcome though it is what I call a "Bill Gates welcome" as they stare into the computer and don't look at you but that's modern life as we know it thanks to Bill and his... More

I am returning to the Odeon Hotel in May 2016 for the 4th time. I have traveled to Paris for the past 4 years and have had a lovely time each time at the Odeon. Breakfast that was included was perfect for me. The hotel is a block away from the Metro and many bus lines. The hotels' location is... More

I couldn't have been happier with the hotel - great location and, in fact, my expectations were surpassed! Very clean and chic, and great staff. Most importantly, it really gave you the sense that you are indeed in Paris. I will definitely come again and can recommend to everyone; you won't be disappointed.

I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel when I know it is a 3 star hotel. That said, it's a fine hotel. It's easy, affordable and in a great location. The rooms are quite small, but typical for a boutique hotel in Europe. I opted for a double room for myself. It would have been a tight fit for two... More

Rooms were clean and comfortable, with facility for tea. Continental breakfast. Good coffe. The front desk promptly ordered taxis, gave directions, were polite and very caring. I started staying at this hotel over 20 years ago, and continue to be satisfied by the service. The hotel is in the 6 th Arrondisement, a perfect location for the sights, restaurants and... More

I have already stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last two years and already have a fourth trip booked. It has wonderful staff - polite, friendly, helpful and is in a great location. The beds are comfy and all the rooms are individually decorated with different themes which I like. I've not encountered any noise in my visits... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
