The location of this hotel alone makes it amazing. It was a five minute walk (if that) to the Metro from the hotel. It is also easy walking distance to the Luxembourg Gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. Very welcome given how rusty my French is. Our room was larger than I thought it would... More

We had booked this hotel online and knowing that the rooms/bathrooms are small in the centre of Paris we wasn't sure if the hotel would be as nice as the website had made it look. Indeed we got a very simple, tiny room, that was not a huge problem as we spent most of the time outside and happy to... More

My wife and I stayed at the Odeon Hotel for the past few nights and enjoyed it very much, this hotel is a true gem, real old Paris, with a touch of modernity. The rooms are quite small, but this is one can expect in that area of Paris. Best location : quiet on Odeon street and yet so central.... More

Odeon Hotel was a perfect home base for exploring Paris. The staff was great, especially Veronica - always greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with our needs. Our room was small, and the bathroom is set off by an accordion door, so don't expect much space or privacy - but for busy tourists like us, it was... More

Loved the hotel. Next to the metro station Odeon, in a quiet street but close to the movement of the Latin Quarter. The rooms are quiet and clean. The wallpaper seems made of EVA, which helps the soundproofing. The bathroom is spacious. In fact, the room is spacious for Parisian standard. Will definitely return there.

Stayed for four nights and had a sixth floor room overlooking rue de odeon, also had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was a bonus. The attic rooms on this floor though are small and the windows are not double glazed which means noise funnels up from the street and can disturb sleep. The location is really good though,... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
