When I first arrived at the Odeon I was a little apprehensive as I had booked online and wasn't sure if the hotel would be as nice as the website had made it look. The hotel receptionist was lovely and welcoming, The hotel is great and in a fantastic location. The room we had was a wee bit small but... More

Odeon Hotel was a perfect home base for exploring Paris. The staff was great, especially Veronica - always greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with our needs. Our room was small, and the bathroom is set off by an accordion door, so don't expect much space or privacy - but for busy tourists like us, it was... More

Loved the hotel. Next to the metro station Odeon, in a quiet street but close to the movement of the Latin Quarter. The rooms are quiet and clean. The wallpaper seems made of EVA, which helps the soundproofing. The bathroom is spacious. In fact, the room is spacious for Parisian standard. Will definitely return there.

Stayed for four nights and had a sixth floor room overlooking rue de odeon, also had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was a bonus. The attic rooms on this floor though are small and the windows are not double glazed which means noise funnels up from the street and can disturb sleep. The location is really good though,... More

Good location, typical small but functional rooms- adequate for business but no real distinguishing features and no real engagement with staff. Late arrival was met with minimum cordiality and no real feeling of staff engagement.

Stayed here for 3 days and felt "at home" with the friendly staff in this nice historic hotel. Got two superior rooms - and both rooms are quiet despite the lively area outside. Walking distance to several memorable historic places for writers and thinkers. Close to the rail station from/to the Charles de Gaulle airport (RER B) by the Luxembourg... More

Excellent location, clean room, nice personnel, good restaurants in the neighbourhood; 5 minutes walk from Jardin du Luxembourg, 25 minutes by Metro from Gare du Nord. And the name of the hotel is easy to remember: Odeon hotel, rue de l'Odeon, Metro Odeon.

We had a lovley stay at the odeon hotel. Very clean and well maintained rooms although not the newest but that made the typical parisian charm for us. We definitely would stay again at the odeon hotel. Again, many thanks to the odeon hotel team.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
