My latest stay in this hotel was in May 2008, but since 1999, I have been a regular guest at the Alhambra. From spring to late autumn, you can enjoy breakfast in their spacious patio amidst all kinds of plants and flowers. And believe me, for a small Parisian hotel like the Alhambra, this is quite exceptional ! The rooms... more

very friendly staff, our room was a twin which was small but very clean - there was no room between the beds and the pillow was kind of non existent, but adequate if you are only staying a couple of days. Very close to the metro station, which is only 4 short stops from the Gare de nord, so perfect... more

Monica Pepine, Bucharest, Romania Have been to Alhambra 10 days ago and everything was beyond my expectations. I was travelling with my husband and my 8-years-old daughter so we stayed in a triple room (with 3 nice and very comfortable beds), with view on a charming little street and it was just perfect. Very clean - in fact the cleaning... more

Despite the mixed reviews we decided to take a chance on the Alhambra and wasn't disappointed. Staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and breakfast was fresh. If you are looking for more than a continental breakfast perhaps you should eat elsewhere though. The weather was extremely cold and wet for most of our stay but the heater kept the... more

The hotel location was ok, staffs were unfriendly, problems with elevator with people trapped inside. Stair is not lighted, room is not clean, not enough towels. more

We found this hotel to be a very convenient base - metro is under 50m away, and the Seine is easily within walking distance. An attractive garden, with a quiet location in a side street; not all town centre hotels can offer that! The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we slept well on firm mattresses. Breakfast was poor value... more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights with our granddaughters aged 14 & 16. The hotel is very close to the Metro and the staff were friendly and helpful. We have stayed in 2 & 3* hotels in Paris before and found this one to be very poor value as regards the breakfast provided. One croisant, one crusty... more

My daughter and i have just returned from a 4 day break at this hotel. It is situated about 100 yards from the metro. Plenty of choices of eating and drinking places within walking distance. Well situated for sightseeing. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast and a cute little back garden where you can sit and eat in the sun. Not many... more

This is a really interesting area of Paris to stay. It's close enough to most things for walking and the metro is there for when you get tired. We particularly liked the La Marine restaurant and bar right beside the Canal St Martin. Reasonably priced and delicious food. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the hotel. The breakfast... more

I was happy with this hotel - the staff was very, very friendly and helpful and my bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, and the shower a little difficult because of this, and the room appeared clean but didn't feel clean, if you can understand what I mean. The carpet in particular. However the bed was great. It's... more
