This was my first trip over seas. My only info of hotels in Paris were what I read on trip advisor. Nice hotel. Very clean. Air conditioning! Close to many cafés and the subway. It wasn't a huge room but wasn't the smallest either. I was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. Internet was included which... More

Over the years I have fallen into the habit of choosing a hotel in the Latin Quarter. Not usually the same one either. But for this weekend trip, this hotel in this part of town was like a breath of fresh air. We chose two "Executive" rooms which were on the 5th floor with nice views onto the Boulevard with... More

I have stayed at this hotel for 4 times already. It is centrally located in the heart of Paris which provides very convenient access to many parts of the city. The grands boulevards metro station is literally just a few steps away from the hotel - right in front of the entrance of the hotel so you can jump down... More

The location of the hotel is really central. You have a subway station mere steps away and the whole of Central Paris around you. The Holiday Inn offers a rather standardized experience, but it's a great one. A combination of pleasantly fresh colors, modern design and good service make a safe bet for a traveler. The standard room price isn't... More

The Holiday Inn on Grands Boulevards was an excellent, good value hotel in the Opera area of Paris. It was clean, comfortable, and in a good location with a Metro station just outside the door. We especially enjoyed several of the nearby restaurants - Le Brebant next door, Le Valentin in the quiet Passage Jouffrey just a couple blocks down... More

Well, stayed here for 2 nights with 2 rooms for 4 people. The front desk was nice and helpful. They let us check in early for one of the rooms so we could store our bags in the room instead of with them. They also helped us print our boarding passes for our flight out. The rooms were very compact... More

I stayed in Holiday Inn Grands Boulevards 4 stars hotel a couple of times. I wrote already in other reviews that I like this hotel chain. Comfortable rooms, king size beds (which is really awesome in the centre of Paris and not in 5 stars hotel :), good staff and very good breakfast. In this case all mentioned was on... More

We were given two nights at this hotel as a gift from my mother who is a ihg platinum member and on arrival we were very lucky to be upgraded to the executive suite (room 700) by the very friendly front desk staff. The room was amazing. It was so spacious and clean with a big authentic beam running across... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
