Perfectly sited halfway between Montmartre and the Isle-de-France, with a bus-stop and Metro right outside the front doors. I stayed for a long weekend. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. A fabulous room with those lovely French doors opening to a balcony over the street. There was everything I expected. I didn't try the... More

My wife and I spent 4 days / 3 nights here in February. Our experience could not have been better! From start to finish the staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was very clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. We really liked the location of the hotel. Walking distance to everything and in the heart of... More

This hotel is a high 3 stars hotel. The service is good except they charged me twice for the room. The room is fun, clean and enjoyable. However it is very small. There is no space around the bed and the equipment as TV is really old. I would advice this hotel as a cheap option for having a 3... More

Location was perfect, right outside the subway, very easy to get to and find! At check in we had a small issue with the reservation. They were unable to find it probably due to miscommunication over the phone. I felt that they could have been a little more courteous at that time as it was almost 1AM and we were... More

Great location, good breakfast, room a little small but that is what all hotelrooms are in Paris. Room was comfortable enough. Friendly kind staff and room was clean. The location is nearby all nice restaurants

What you get is "on the tin": a standard, chain business hotel with no specific charm or local touch (inside, you could be in another Holiday Inn anywhere in the world). So, nothing wrong per se, and if you're an American traveler looking for familiar bearings once you retreat from the city, then you are likely to like this hotel.... More

I was booked here as part of a larger group. I am a IHG member and received a room upgrade to an Executive Room. It was very nice and everything worked well. The breakfast was reasonable. WiFi worked well. The staff member who checked me in was very helpful and nice.

Having stayed in many paris hotels in the opera district - I can recommend the holiday inn grandes boulevard. The location is handy - tight next to the metro stop and all the main shopping districts - galléries layette, printemps, châtelet Les Halles etc. the hotel was clean and modern ( a great find in this location) we booked an... Clean and affordable 4 star hotel in an excellent location : 4 minutes walk to drouot auctions and 10 minutes walk to the shopping centers like Lafayette's and Printemps . The metro station is facing the front door . The lobby could be better.

This hotel is basic but provides everything that is needed for a city break. The metro is literally right outside the front door. The room is quite small and basic but all that you need - clean and comfortable with a great shower. The hotel is located on quite a busy street but there is no nocie in the room.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
