Overall, the hotel is very nice to stay in, I stayed with my family in paris for 3 days and this hotel was definitely satisfactory for me and my family. The main advantage of the hotel is the underground station right in front of the hotel, it made travelling around paris hundreds of times better. Also, the rooms were clean,... More

I Stayed with my wife for 5 nights from 10-12 of May 2015 for our honeymoon. Rooms were bright and cheery, but very small (i think all Paris hotels like this). Staff were very helpful and always smile and you can ask them whatever you want. the location is amazing very close to opera, 5-10 mins walk to the louver... More

Stayed for 3 nights 25-27 May 2015 and apart from the 1st day when there was no hot water had no complaints about this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It is in a great location to get around Paris, is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants and provided clean and spacious (we were upgraded to superior) rooms with comfy... More

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2015. Rooms were bright and cheery, though a bit small. Staff were very, very helpful. Breakfast was good too, very satisfying with a decent selection - salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants/bread, fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal, among others. The Grands-Boulevards metro station is right outside the hotel, which was very convenient to get around the... More

This hotel is in a great location from a sightseeing and shopping perspective. The metro entrance is right outside, which is fantastic. We were given a fairly large, pleasant room and beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast has the usual options and staff is courteous and helpful. We were very happy with the cleaning of the room everyday and the amenities... More

I came to the hotel with my girlfriend for a week during New Years (2014/2015) so that we could explore Paris from the centre of the city. Here is my breakdown of what it was like: Price: Flipping insane, I was charged 250 euro a night and 350 for the new years eve. Definitely not worth the price, although I... More

Nice, clean and modern hotel. The room was small but reasonably sized considering the location in paris. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful, bi-lingual and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was convenient and overall good (cappuccino machine was my favourite). Very fast wifi The location was great just a few blocks away from many of paris' attractions. There is a metro... More

I had previously had bad experiences with Paris hotels but this one was a pleasant surprise. The location is great for sightseeing and the staff is outstanding: welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable (I was amazed by the staff, actually). The room is average in size but has everything one might need, is clean and cleaned every day, beds comfy. The elevators... More

My family stayed beyond 5 days in this memorable hotel: hot breakfast, comfy bed, large rooms, and best location for transport (bus and metro stops right in front of the hotel) and good value-for-money restaurants of all kinds! Above all, the hotel management has maintained an efficient and jolly work force: Sylvain (guy at breakfast) Yolande (girl at breakfast), and... More

The main advantage of the hotel is location - a few steps from the Grands Boulevards metro station if you have to go by metro. Otherwise you can go for a pleasant walk along the boulevards right to the Opera and other central locations. The rooms are rather small, with narrow but comfortable beds. Mine unfortunately was not very clean,... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
