Stayed at this hotel in March in order to use some A-Club points that were expiring. I reserved a deluxe room, but I don't think we got it. I didn't even realize it until we had been there a day and my wife mentioned it. If it was deluxe then I wouldn't pay 1 Euro for it and I sure... More

stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and parents. and we loved it, so good location and very nice staff, clean rooms and not noisy at all. I have been in paris four times and this was the best hotel i have stayed at. We didnt have the breakfast at the hotel but in the area it was... More

Did stay here in a privilege room for four nights. A quite small hotel on the corner Rue Saint-Jacques and Rue du Sommerard, our small balcony was facing Rue Saint-Jacques, which caused some noises from traffic, we stayed at the 4th floor. Pros: Bathrobes&slippers, Nespresso-machine, a small fridge with free still drinks, comfy bed and the bluetooth-speaker. Nice bathroom. Location,... More

Just spent long weekend at this hotel. Fantastic location and we were able to not use the metro all weekend as the hotel is so well located. Sore feet though! Breakfast is expensive, so we went elsewhere. No problem, it's a choice. Spotless interior. Service and reception staff were friendly and helpful. What more do you need? And with the... More

I chose this hotel in spite of being a little bit pricey because of the great location. I did not regret it because it was within walking distance to many attractions (Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Panthéon, Sorbonne, etc) and also many metro stations. What I did not love, is that a room meant for two people can be absurdly small.... More

I stayed for ten nights over Christmas 2014 and generally enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly whenever I interacted with them. The hotel has a great location, and is modern and nicely decorated. I booked a double room, which was very small but apparently this is normal in Paris. My window looked out onto a brick wall,... We were two friends sharing a Superior room from Thursday - Sunday. The room and bathroom is tiny, but there is space for the essentials. The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is located close to blvd St. Germain, a very quick walk to the metro, and only a few minutes to walk to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our Christmas holidays. The room was small by Canadian standards but you immediately adjust because of the many wonderful restaurants, sites -- and connection to the metro -- are all within walking distance. Can't wait to return to Paris and when we do we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
