It is the distance that does not bother to walk by rolling a suitcase. I felt the double room, was described 16 m², small. Closet was barely size of opening one of my suitcase. Bathtub was Jacuzzi so that I was somehow happy. There was a coffee maker to put the capsule. You can get additional capsules at the reception.... More

The hotel is locate just steps away from the most famous monuments in Paris. Nice area. The hotel is small but nice, great service and nice rooms. There are many restaurants around the area and the subway is just steps away, great hotel for a woman traveling alone. I would definitely stay again here.

Came here with family for my Nan's birthday. Our room was lovely, very homely with good decor, location is fantastic, staff quite helpful and generally nice. Unfortunately stairs were slightly creaky, room is slightly small for four but quite comfortable and the lift broke and we were on the top floor.

Good things about the hotel: Friendly and helpful reception staff - there 24 hours a day which is good if you're planning on staying out late. Great location, about 10 mins walk from the Louvre. Free Wifi and TV in the rooms. Aircon in the rooms, although it was quite hot even with this on! Clean and nice decor throughout.... More

I felt let down by this hotel which really offers nothing special other than its location. Location wise you really are right in the heart of Paris. Be careful though, if you're after a peaceful nights sleep ask to be put at the back of the hotel. Rooms at the front hang over the busy street with bars and clubs... More

You do not want a street room here, the bars let out from 3:30-5:30 it seemed like in shifts and for two hours the noise on the street is very loud. It is a great location, close to shopping, eating, metro and sights. Room was nice and good size but bring ear plugs in case you get a street room.

We stayed 3 nights in early August and were very pleased with the accommodation. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order and breakfast was good too. The staff were nice and helpful arranging cabs and providing advice upon request. After having read numerous reviews on this hotel I was a bit anxious about staying there but I... More

I spent one night at the Hotel Daunou Opera with two children. I got a great deal by booking directly with them on their website - they had a flash sale on and so I got a suite at an excellent rate. The suite was of course a 3* hotel suite and consisted of one double room with another smaller... More

The best thing about the hotel is it's location. It is around the corner of the Opera and very conveniently located to reach a few other touristic destinations in a few minutes by foot. The rooms are very dated and could need a general renovation. Carpets are old and towels are not very clean anymore although they seem to be... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
