This hotel was great value for money as far as location and close proximity to major attractions such as Notre Dame 2-3min away and the Louvre about 10min walk. I stayed here with my two daughters. They too found nightlife very good. St Germain and St Michel is the main intersection and many shops and cafes all around. This is... More

The location of this hotel was fantastic, right in the centre of the ambient latin quarter and only a couple of metres from the metro. We were lucky to get a room on the 5th floor with a small balcony. The rooms were clean and the beds firm and comfy. The staff were always pleasant too. We didn't take breakfast... More

The Albe hotel in the Quartier Latin neighbourhood is a very nice hotel at a super location and with relatively spacious rooms (given it's Paris). Nice atmosphere, both in the hotel and in the surroundings. Lively nightlife (one night when we returned at our hotel, there were thre guys playing guitar and singing with the audience singing alone, Great!) and... More

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and were not disappointed. The hotel was clean and the service was friendly. We had booked a superior room at a small extra cost because we had heard that hotel rooms in Paris tend to be very small - this got us an average sized room which was fine. The great thing... More

We stayed here for only one night, because our other hotel was sold out for our last night in Paris. After a week in budget accomodations, we felt like we were in the lap of luxury staying here. We were given a twin room on the fifth floor. Imagine our surprise to be given a room with a balcony! We... More

Shabby, small room , very badly in need of re-decoration, corridors also shabby and very tight. Wafer thin walls between bedrooms - very noisy. Reception area very limited. Have stayed in Paris hotels at half the price for twice the value. Great vibrant location v. near Notre Dame. Will never return!!

This is the second time we have stayed here and we weren't necessarily fussed after last year when we were in a pokey room at the back of the 1st storey. I'm glad we took the chance and came a second time. We were on the top floor in a reasonably spacious room which was clean and incorporated a flat-screen... More

My wife, son (12) and I just spent 5 nights at the Hotel D'Albe. It was truly our best experience in Paris yet. You could not ask for a better location in Paris. The room was clean and plenty big enough for the three of us. It's a lively and safe area. The Latin Quarter is our favorite area for... More

6 months after our first trip to Paris, we went back again. Stayed at Hotel D'Albe for the second time, and loved it even more. The hotel upgraded us to a nicer room, and all I can say is oh. my. god. It was gorgeous. The most striking thnig was the bathroom, with beautiful tile, mirrors and lighting. The bathroom... More

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is clean and has a friendly atmosphere and it is very centrally located. I would consider it as good value for money.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
