Hotel d’Albe is centrally located in Paris, literally few steps from the Fontaine St. Michel in the 5th arrondissement. This trip, we stayed at the Hotel for our second time (first was in 2012), for one night. Although the hotel is in the busy, pedestrian streets filled with restaurants and tourists, the rooms remained quiet. Because of our great stay... More

We once again spent our New Year's Holiday this year at the Hotel Albe. It is a great small boutique hotel right smack in the middle of the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank in Paris. It is ideally located very close to both the RER B/C lines and the Paris Metro System #4 line (the St. Michel stops). The... More

Stayed at the Hotel Albe twice and was pleased with it both times. The central location has to be one of the best in Paris but it comes with a price because there is tons of pedestrian traffic and it is very loud. But the hotel wisely installed double-paned glass to thankfully make the room impervious to street noise. Some... More

Hotel Albe keeps things simple: it is a clean, friendly hotel located 30 seconds away from the metro station and 1 minute walk from Notre Dame. Extremely convenient location I should say! We had a very good night sleep as the mattress was very comfortable, the room was standard, simple but clean and cosy. Although located in a busy street,... More

Someone else said this in a review earlier, and I genuinely agree. This hotel is one of those one in a million finds, where everything fits just right. Of course, it also depends on you as a traveler, if your profile fits mine, then this hotel is definitely for you. Its obviously not for everyone. I am a 34 year... More

Was in Paris on business for just one night with a colleague. This hotel is very conveniently located, near the metro, near lots of fantastic restaurants, and a stone's throw from the sights of Paris. The lady at reception was very welcoming, really helpful and generally very friendly. Hotel room was clean, beds very comfortable, a good nights sleep. Nice... More

This boutique hotel on a corner right near Place Saint Michel is small but perfectly formed. Hotel Albe is located in one of those quintessentially Parisian 19th century apartment buildings with wrought iron balconies and loads of charm. Nicely renovated, great bedlinen, immaculate bathroom, and best of all double glazed windows that open up so that you can hang out... More

Wake up in the heart of the rive gauche, a few steps from the Metro and RER, turn the corner and the Seine offers you an upside down reflex of Notre Dame... Great position and super soundproof windows!

If you want to be where all the action is, you couldn't be better situated than at Albe St Michel. Almost all attractions are at walking distance and you're only a step away from the best restaurants and all the famous Paris patisseries. At night, this area takes on a completely new look as all the night clubs spring into... More

I've stayed here before and once again was very happy with the hotel. The location is perfect, just a step away from the Seine, the metro and lots of bars and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The rooms are quite small but nicely furnished and clean. Good wifi. Nice... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
