I would not class this hotel as 4 star. At best a 3 star. The rooms are small (stayed in a Superior Room), furniture is very worn, no tea / coffee facilities and the shower put more water outside the bath than on my head. this is a great hotel for a short trip to paris because the location is perfect for all the main sights. the hotel is clean and nicely (if conservatively) decorated - it's not trendy but very comfortable and smack in the middle of the best shops in town. it's a bit cramped but only because you have everything you need... more

Stayed at this hotel for seven nights, got an upgrade because of confusion at the desk staff were very helpfull and pleasant , great location, good breakfast although room very small 12 people, one morning had to wait 30 minutes for a table, lift small and worked occassionally. Stayed at the hotel during a brief break in my travels and found it ideal - small and boutique style and excellent location near all the major tourist attractions as well as shopping.
