If you're in Paris for Business reasons and you need to work on you computer to read your emails, choose another hotel. For the rest, this is a really good experience that I'll recommend. The breakfast is really good.

We stayed at Waldorf Madelaine twice, each time for one night - before and after completing a tour. We liked the central location. The rooms were nice - clean tidy - the beds were comfortable It's not a big hotel and has a nice feel about it. A very nice atmosphere The staff were approachable and friendly. It was our... More

The Waldorf Madeleine Paris is a small hotel in a great location. Here are some pros and cons: Pro: 1. Friendly staff 2. Inexpensive 3. Amazing location - convenient to everywhere, especially if you are ok with walking a mile to some key locations (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triumph, etc). 4. Wifi was fast enough, and stayed connected throughout... More

The location of the hotel is great within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions but on a quiet street with very little noise at night. The room we stayed in had a refurbed bathroom which was very nice (not all rooms have the new bathrooms) the bedroom itself was a little dated but did the job. My only... More

Our stay at the Waldorf was perfectly fine. The price and the location were just right - in walking distance to most of the sites and metros. The room was small (as are most European rooms) but modern and very clean. The air conditioning was powerful and key for a July stay in Paris. The morning staff was very friendly... More

Dear Liltrain31, First of all, we want to thank you very much to take on your time to write down your comment regarding your stay in the Waldorf Madeleine hotel. Just round the corner from Madeleine this is in easy walking distance from Louvre, Tuilliers and Grande Palais etc. in a very nice area of Paris. Great too for buses, and underground. Seems to be a very small hotel. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, check in and out was very smooth. Room was small but nicely furnish, with... More

Hotel located in Madeleine, a nice area, very short walk to Concord, Louvre, Galeries Lafayette, Champs Elysee. Taxi stand just steps away, only 7-10 euros to Norde Dame and Effel Tower. Because we travel with kids, so booked 2 rooms, we emailed to ask 2 rooms next to each other, hotel very nicely accommodate the request, big thanks. Rooms are... More

A very nice, boutique hotel with comfortable beds. Located a relatively easy walk to Champs Elysee and the hop on, hop off bus. Our front desk contact (Marc) was extremely helpful with information about what to see in Paris, reviewing how to get around via the city map and tips about avoiding picket-pocket/ scams. Marc was a valuable resource and... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
