I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Villa Opera. The staff was very friendly and helpful and were able to communicate with you in several languages ( English, Russian, Spanish etc). We actually became friends :) . The hotel is clean and just beautiful, oh another great thing is that it is only 2 mins away from the strip ( walking... More

Very dusty room. Wall light falling and hanging by the wires. We got kicked out of the room by the housekeeper as she wanted to go home and we had the last room to clean. The spot is amazing if you like Paris 9th, but clearly this hotel does not deserve 4 stars.

Good location in the Opera area within easy reach of most of the places you would wish to visit. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Hotel is not a modern building but is a typical small Paris hotel. The décor is quirky but pleasant

Stayed with my hubby here on a mini-honeymoon. The location in the Opera neighborhood is terrific, and the hotel itself is lovely. Breakfast is served in a wine-cave-esque space, while the rooms have beautiful views and are fabulously decorated. Sleek and modern it is not-- and that was perfect. The staff were absolutely delightful-- after a booking mixup (my fault),... More

We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on this however my husband had a look at the breakfast room and he said there was a great selection. The room was adequate and clean. Dear guests, We thank you to have chosen Villa Opéra Drouot for your loving stayy in Paris and to comment it on Tripadvisor, but it seems you may have not taken the good hotel for your review as the descirption of our buffet breakfast is not what we serve, so I would not like the guests reading it to imagine... Decorated almost entirelly in red, dark brown and gold, the Villa Opera Drouot is best described as a Belle Epoque rococo style establishment, with furniture and styling (lots of velvet, thick fabrics, and opera paraphernalia) to boot. As a consequence, it's quite dark, but that isn't really a problem and the lot is undeniably charming. My single room, no 505,... More

I took my daughter to Paris and we stayed here. Firstly, all staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful allowing you to enjoy your stay: They can recommend/book restaurants, organise taxis and just make your stay easy. The rooms were very comfortable and after doing lots of walking around Paris a good sound sleep was needed. The location... More

We stayed at Hotel Opera Drouot for three nights. Overall the hotel is good with friendly and helpful personnel. The interior design is really nice. The free wifi was ok but the connection was sometimes lost. The hotel is not far from Gare Du Nord close to a metro station. In the near vicinity are several restaurants and bars.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
