I traveled to Paris on Oct 2014. This hotel was very small but friendly. Compare to the other 5* hotels in other countries it can be rated 3* from the size and facilities. It doesn't have any restaurant and only served breakfast in morning in very small place and very few variety of food. The hotel building and rooms were... More

I am staying here for 11 for business & pleasure at the weekend of which I will be visiting paris once every 4-6 weeks. As I am into my 6th day I felt compelled to write a review whilst I half through my stay here. I love the traditional french Parisian decor of the hotel, the location is fantastic and... More

We stayed for 6 nights for our honeymoon and we got a free upgrade and a lovely note and complimentary chocolates welcoming us. Great reception staff who were very helpful and a very Parisian looking hotel. The room had all the usual amenities apart from tea and coffee but I suppose that is an English thing! The breakfast isn't worth... More

The hotel is located in a great area, and for our purposes it was walking distance to the offices (stayed for a week). The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small although nicely decorated - the bathroom was big enough so they could have increased the room size by decreasing the bathroom size! The heating in the bathroom... More

Dear guests, Thank you for taking time to share your opinion on Tripadvisor about your stay at Villa opera Drouot. You are right to say we have a special decoration that is a replique of a boudoir or of a Opéra Loge, so with small lighting. Sorry if the heater seemed not working well, but as the temperature is very... More

Villa Opera Drouot Hotel Paris, room 201 (dates of July 19-23, 2015): when I spoke with our Liberty Travel Consultant, my main focus was a safe location I could walk with my ten-year-old daughter. Shortly after checking in, I quickly learned that the duty of the front desk person was to shoo the homeless men away from the hotel’s threshold.... More

Dear guests, We are very sorry you suffered the high temperature during the 15 days we had this summer. Great location. Helpful staff who let us check in early, and helped us change rooms to accommodate another guest joining us. Great service. There are so many great restaurants and shops right near by, next time we will have to explore more!

It's so near to everything (walking distance to most things and a metro 5 min away if you don't want to walk). The room was clean and the decor was nice and we'll make maintained. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning to visit Paris, was surprised it was so good with the price being so low

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
